The US Open is the final Grand Slam of the year and takes place at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The 2022 US Open saw Spain's Carlos Alcaraz and Poland's Iga Swiatek claim the men's and women's singles titles. It was both players' first US Open title, with Alcaraz claiming his first Grand Slam title and Swiatek claiming her third Grand Slam title. The ending match was insane. She made Tomjanovic have to earn this victory. If you want to retire me, you better give it your all. Wonderful career. I was never a huge tennis fan growing up but Serena and Venus made me feel invested. Congrats on a wonderful career.

the 20-shot rally at 4-5 in the second set tiebreak is probably one of the best points Serena's every played. what a legend and a champion. she changed the sport forever in ways that no other player, man or woman, could
