I tried just about everything to stop the "ending" from occurring and it's not possible. I even jammed the toilet door open and it doesn't work. However there is one other ending to this mod. It turns out it's actually just watching the paint dry...

I found the real ending. You have to go to the guys room with a pain can and throw it at him. Then he says that you've created a paradox; he has to remove everything that touches the paint, but if he removes himself, who will remove him? Then he keeps repeating it in a circle over and over until the world collapses. Then you're in the house again like a new layer, except this time the paint is dry! You go to the hallway and the door to the house is open. You leave the house and the credits roll. This is in the new patch of the game which has new layers, and it mentions you, Jolly, for making the game popular again. So this ending might just be a new thing introduced in the 2.0 patch. Still, it's great to have a real ending. You should check it out!

One of many endings to this mod: you open the door to the left of the key card reader, in there there’s a table with some wierd little machine. You go into the little vent he was in before, take the satellite that’s in there, put it on the machiene, take the clock next to the fridge and put it on there as well. Now you go into the other room (with help of the key card) and flick the switch. You go into the fridge BUT DONT JUMP DOWN. You flick that switch as well. And then the machine will start up. So you walk into the machine (a time machine if it wasn’t already obvious) and after that you can touch the wall :) Some other stuff in the game is also: blowing up the earth. The Stanley parable (literally) The backrooms And a paradox, here’s how to do that: When in the room with the TV, take one of the paint buckets and throw it on the TV, you will now have created a paradox, he will have to remove himself from the game since he touched the paint. This causes you to warp into a different dimension. You can’t open the fridge and the key card room is now just an attic. On the first level there’s a big glowey white door. You walk into the door. And the credits roll. I cried first time completing this mod. It’s a really poetic experience for just being a half-life 2 mod. I highly suggest you playing it. If you wanna do that, here are the instructions: Go to the link that jolly so kindly provided in the description, download the zip file. Unzip the file into. Steam/steamapps/sourcemods. Go into steam, and in the top left corner where it just says “steam” you click there and click “exit” now open steam again and the mod will be in your games library. If it’s not there it might be because you don’t have the original half-life 2 game. They’re only about 8$ each on steam. Go play them too. They’re masterpieces!
