I know AJR themselves wont see this but..... I have a really amazing friend who introduced me to AJR last few days ago and I already love it, it's so fun, relatable and so interesting, I personally love I won't, Steve's going to London and Drama and honestly they've done an incredible job, I know I'd never see them live but seeing such a close and heartfelt group of friends makes me think that they're still is good in this world, weather it comes in the form of an animal or an Adam, Jack or Ryan it makes a difference in our universe, our world and our community and I would like to say that you've done and amazing job and don't listen to anyone who hates or tries changing your music just tell them that you wouldn't, love you guys ❤️

I understand the sentiment, but to people who are going through things, these words are not going to save them. To suicidal people, there is no choice. Its only death. It's not as simple as, "dont do it". Emotions are not logical. You cannot tell people to be okay and expect them to be. People tend to focus at the "interesting in parties" part but nobody recalls when they said "I ain't scared of you no more" which basically means that we have gotten stronger and so we fear no misfortune that comes in our lives.

i know ajr will probably never see this comment, but i want to say it nonetheless. this song is so powerful to me. the first time i heard it on the radio, my abusive father lashed out at me for liking it. he hated me for not believing his manipulation, so the line “i’m not scared of you” made him upset for some reason. i remember how scared i felt. not your fault obviously. now, i’m okay. now i can sing this song with power that i’m not afraid of him anymore. i’m away from him. and though i haven’t gotten proper justice yet, i’ve stood up to him. i no longer associate with my father anymore. thank you so much ajr. not only this song, but everything you’ve done helped me and continues to help me through dark points in my life. thank you. you truly saved me. if anyone decided to read this, i thank you too.

same, this song came on my spotify a little while after a car crash i was in. it helped me calm a little bit, as i was still hyperventilating a small bit. (thankfully no terrible injuries, just extreme trauma. this was my first car crash)
