As someone that's listened to every episode since the beginning, Mal is the star of the pod and has gotten so much better. If y'all only tune in for the mess then ur outta the loop and can't say anything about his podding cuz a lot of the funniest moments come from him cracking on the cast. He also kills it in their skits

I think y’all looking at the situation through one lens. I think mal had a good ass point. Rory and mal don’t need to work with other podcast for several reasoning. For one most of the top podcast are friends with joe or try to align themselves with joe because he’s the top guy in urban media. I think mal knows that if they go on these platforms it’s only going to be questions about joe and the break up of the pod. At this point it’s time to let that situation go because it’s literally beating a dead horse. I think mal knows this very well. I think Rory and mal don’t need any cross branding. I think they should give underground r&b/hip hop a platform to introduce themselves to the world. Especially with the fact that Rory is very tapped in with the underground r&b scene. They should give them a platform to get interviewed and maybe perform some new unreleased shit. Kind of like what Adam 22 did for SoundCloud rap back in 2016

Mal is smart but not the brightest. Where he specializes is being relatable and being aware but mal is just his own enemy. Also I think his personality and energy is his product. Meaning he is one of those guys people tend to just fw but because of that there comes negatives such as not feeling obligated to expose himself or entertain an audience past the point where he feels uncomfortable . Mal is just performs and like to keep it business. He’s from a different era, where vulnerability was deemed weak which still is as much as people say it isn’t. He just lacks the ability to want to be the character most want him to be .
