I feel like the TV missile has a delay on Xbox One... When you try to steer it it just feels really indirect :/

pretty thorough, only trick that you haven't covered is seat switch when you get in the heli eliminates 3 second delay before you can lift off if you need to get airborne really quickly.

That was awesome, you could give like, a tutorial on how to fly the maps themselves, ik you kinda touched on it, but things like how you can hit the roads on shang outside the maps at any speed without blowing up, how to burn people out :( and how as a gunner if your pilot flies you into the C building you can see the other heli through the building, pretty useful in pugs, also I REALLY want that tutorial on how to dogfight :DDD

I'm usually the pilot but whenever I'm the gunner and I have to use the TV I almost (99%) of the time end up missing by target by an inch. Mostly my TV's go through the rotors or a cm ahead or under/top of the chopper. Any idea as to what I'm doing wrong? Thanks and great video! (As always :D)

Why am I watching this...I have controller drift on my ps4 and it takes forever for my to go and select a vehicle. I get a chopper and then have no cruemate or else some try hard will just camp it or I will get shot down in 10 seconds

Actually, you are wrong about saying that there is no need to fly low. Flying low is used as a defensive tactic. The best pilots will dive low and fly beneath terrain and buildings for cover, as well as flying low for stealth to get flanks off. As well as going below radar. Flying high is for offensive play. Flying low is for defensive play. The best strategy for AAs is to run Hydra rockets, pilot TOW missile, and gunner TV, as well for the for you gunner to run extinguisher for the pilot seat. You want to spot the AA, fly low and flank around the map, line your gunners TV shot up, hit the AA with a TOW an a TV missile and dump the rest of your rockets into him. This will guaranteed destroy a fully health AA in a matter of a few seconds. If you get disabled, jump out before landing, have your gunner switch to the pilot seat and pop his extinguisher. Now if we are talking about height. I recommend you keep the helicopter at 70-100 meters and above for engaging you targets. That's high enough to assess everything happening on the map and not being prone to just get instantly smacked down by a RPG/SMAW, or a tank because you were to low of an altitude. Now when you fly low, again, the point is to not expose yourself. You never fly low when engaging targets. And you never fly low when there are enemies in proximity to shoot you down. You only fly low in order to evade sight from the enemy and gain an advantage. Another tip, let the enemy fire off a heat seeking missile, before you evade. That way you can pin point where they are. On Battlefield, you better catch me by surprise with a RGP, because if you use a stinger, it's going to end up putting a target over your head and getting you killed. Which goes into another point, never use heat seeking missiles against pro pilots. If you are an Infantry and you are getting dominated by a really good pilot on the enemy team, do not use a stinger. As I said, it will put a big bullseye on your head. Your best lock is to use a dumb fired rocket, which has a better chance of not giving away your position and ultimately being able to single handily take out a helicopter with one rocket. If you feel a bit clumsy with dumb fired rockets, hop in the AA and use you main gun. I don't know how many noobs I see ignore there main gun, which is practically easy to use and able to shoot down a aircraft faster and more efficiently then heatseeking missiles would. Aside from that, very good list of tips.

I agree with most of the video, but for TOW missiles I believe the proper way of using it is to keep you reticle directly on the target as the TOW missile flys to wherever that laser beam ends, though I'm not an expert but I feel like this is the way it works in real life where the laser beam hits a surface and reflects back then received by the launcher or the missile and guides the missile to the reflection point, if that's true I believe if you point your reticle at the sky in real life the missiles won't change path at all since there's no laser reflection received. in this game, both for TOW and SRAW launchers if you keep your reticle on your target I believe it's a guaranteed hit, however right before the missile hits if the reticle is off-target for even 0.1 second will result in missile flying pass the target and even the target is reaquired it takes too long for the missile to do a U-turn. I believe this method is the proper and the most skillful aiming method. Nevertheless most pro players don't do it this way as they prefer aiming the reticle at absolutely void or anything in the background and adjust the path of the missile accordingly, but I feel like the glow and smoke trial of the missile the player sees is not what's actually happening in the game codes, that's probably why I often see people hit target even the missile looks completely off-target and just airbursts near or in some cases quite far away from the target and still registers as a hit, for instance at 7:51 in this video if you play it in slow-mo you can see the missile is nowhere close to the enemy heli when the hitmarker appeared, but this case it not too bad as it's not significantly far away from the target. So my conclusion is, if you use the TOW missiles as shown in this video, although it's reliable most of the time, but it involves a considerable amount of luck as the missile may not be correctly rendered on your screen, the same goes with RPG, you can see a lot more cases where the RPG just airbursts and register as a hit, I personally even have experienced it once where the RPG was ridiculously far off the aircraft but still hit, since then I never used RPG again, I even made a gif of it but I don't know how to post it, but you get the idea. and maybe some tracer rounds are affected by this phenomenon, as mentioned in a previous patch note that the attack heli's tracer rounds used to render incorrectly on the player's screen as in the game the tracer rounds inherited vehicle velocity but not on the player's screen, or the other way around, I couldn't remember. TL; DR: missiles and certain tracer ammunition may not render properly on your screen, the TOW aiming method mentioned in the video could either increase or decrease your chance of hitting the target based on your luck.

i cant for the life off me work out how tow is better seekers just give u more flexibility especially when dealling with multible air targets seekers they can track heat sig across the map if u have no direct visability, as for attacking groundd troops 8 zuis can ddoooo uup to 96 max damage i u hit the right parts i can average off 60 - 80 damagge onnn a tank with just zuniz tow missiles are even easier to doge than tvs every tow pilot in my region normally die with in a few seconds but the rest of the stuufff on here is pretty accurate well doone
