hah, I love how it plays the Game over music. It's totally telling you: "You fucked up horribly dood. Try again"

Wow, this feels more like a game over than an ending. "... and they were never heard from again..."

For anyone struggling to get this ending, here's a tip: Pick a high level senator near the front and bribe him until he Loves you. When the battle starts, throw lower level senators into that guy until the map is cleared. Victory!

I heard a rumor that all the endings were canon and spread out into the other series. good- Disgaea 2 canon bad- Prinny Hero canon item god- Phantom Brave canon? dark assembly- Makai Kingdom canon? It's just something I heard, but the good and the bad ending canons have to be true.

If it were me, I wouldn't even had music during the credits on this one. It's like the voiceover said: nothing left but "silence and emptiness". I mean, heck, if the voiceover doesn't give you enough of an impact...

Not sure why this ending is even worse than the "bad" ending, even though it requires tons more shit to unlock

You've taken everything by force and simply were not fit of heart enough, so as habit you continue to take whatever you want into your own hands, including the death of the poor angle.

This is my favourite ending, very concize and powerful.

@eishikibahamut Good theory, but a flaw already. In the 'Bad' Ending to Disgaea, Seraph Lamington is killed. When you fight against Flonne in 'Can I really be the hero?' she says she was going to ask Seraph Lamington if there was a way to turn Laharl back. Therefore, the only continuity where both of the conditions: Larharl a Prinny Seraph Lamington alive are met would be the Anime ending, as odd as that sounds.

"This ending is TERRIBLE!" Yeah, I second that. They really would have given more tought to this ending even though it wasn't a good one.

@OtakuDeju i think they have a randomized list. but also they have ones of varying levels. as you pass more exams, more powerful senators show up.

@iluvmypuddycat You have to pass 100 proposals by force to get this ending. The side effect to this is having a lot a senators loathe you.

After everything that happen all they can say is ....FIN....

srsly, tragedy of the marionette? its a great song, but i think the flonne tragedy ending is the only one worthy of this song

i might unfortunately end up getting this ending because i always beat the shiz out of the dark assembly when they dont pass my bills.. which is like all of them

so in order to get the good ending you just need to play through and not kill your allies, right? and in order to get this ending, you need to work your ass off in hopes of getting a decent reward. ...does that mean the moral of this story is "if you work hard and put effort into everything, you are doomed for sadness"?? WHAT

The game gets it all wrong. Disgaea is all about demons, and the "Bad Endings" are more fitting to demons. Really the best ending would be Laharl to return on his former demon self in chapter 1, and not that stupid sentimental thingy he becomes.
