I really like your style of explaining, because you repeat stuff multiple times - that's very good for newbies, because we can easily get lost within the amount of info. Great job!

I know I should probably stop being a man and read the manual, but I've got a got a jam I'm working on and I've got to the bottom of my list of scenes on the original screen. I've seen others with more than the standard scenes. They just scroll down, but I can't figure out how to add more scenes. Thanks and you are awesome!!!

The mpc live does have audio warping in standalone but it only has access to the "less cpu" version, where as the akai force has access to the "Pro Ten" version. I don't have a dirrect comparison video yet, but you can see the mpc live audio warping here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/psuhjMiAqc-5dac.html

All grooveboxes or DAWs I worked with have such a feature, but I can't find anything about it on the Force.

Im noticing when i try recording things like sub basses the clips aren’t record as i heard them when playing the pads . the points of sustain and a lot of the notes are completely missing on play back. I’ve tried adjusting pad threshold ,sensitivity, and velocity curves but that doesn’t seem to help at all . It’s definitely not recording the same pad sensitivity settings i hear when I’m playing the pads while recording.Any advice as to what im doing wrong or what settings i need to adjust. Thanks for your time . Your video demos are great and really help people out .

Nico demo. Have a question: for axample I have 2 scenes, but in the first scene there is a midi clip with a long evolving pad ( 30 bars), when I go to scene 2 then the clip from the evolving pad of scene 1 stops, but I like that it continious playing that long clip. Is there a way that it the clip of scene 1 is continue playing. I saw that somewhere in another video how to do that, but I don't find it anymore. I can copy the first clip to scene 2, but when I launch it restarts, I like that it continues, but I don't know if it is possible :)

Great tutorial, thanks. I have a question though. Let say I build a track using all 64 clips, with each section of the song using a scene. So the last scene at the bottom of the pads is the outro.. what happens when I want to move into a second song? In Ableton you can just move down and start an entirely new song, but how does that work on the force? Thanks

Hello. You cannot use an external keyboard like that yet. You can use midi learn on the akai mpc live, so I would imagine something like that is coming, but that is speculation. Also, the is an arranger mode coming to the Force that is being beta tested now.

So I’m thinking of using this as my equipment for a live performance (I play my own stems as I can use this to improvise) but often when the dancefloor vibe changes mid song I’ll adjust the Bpm. And also I’ve got tracks with bpm changes. The area which you can launch an entire scenes like in ableton I hear you can type the Bpm and that way you launch the scene into that tempo. While this is easy to do and alter on the fly during a live performance via laptop, I am sad to see this was missed when talking of launching scenes. Why am I sad? Because this is the reason why I am here and no one has done a video on this yet and the people at guitar center and sam ash are dumber than a bag of bricks. (I say this with love as I taught some of the staff at the locations by me shit they never knew about the force 🤦🏼‍♂️) My question is, can I change the Bpm on the fly via scene launch as easy on ableton via my laptop without disrupting the performance? This is literally my make or break on buying this.
