Dude, it sounds great. But how'd you get the drum sounds onto the pads. When I click on a template in MPC Beats, there's no drums on my pads, just other sounds. How do you map what you want onto the pads?

Bought this via Amazon in India.. when played in computer, the sound is too low.. and I have to literally hit hard on the drums to make any sound.. infact the sound produced by the hit is much larger than what is coming in computer.. thought this was a product issue and got a replacement unit.. same thing on that too.. im so disappointed.. not sure why all feel so good about Akai Mini MPK 3.. anyone has a different experience???

I think I might have somehow deleted the files to make the editor work? When I open it (for mpk3) it's a blank screen and doesn't show the interface for my midi. I've deleted and reinstalled the application four times and nothing seems to fix it. Any ideas? Am I missing something?

Sorry to ask for help here. I didn't find any other way. A problem with AKAI MPK MINI MK3. The problem is related to the sensitivity of the keys. I have to make an effort to press the keys to hear the sound normally. The sensitivity is very low. How can I fix this problem? How do I increase the sensitivity, or set the velocity range. This may be a dumb question, but you can basically plug a usb midi controller into any laptop, right? Given you have the software as well.

Man, this MPK3 is driving me insane, I can´t setup this whole thing. I dont know how I get the drums for exsample into the pads and safe them. I dont know how I can change the Velocity of the keys so that they arent sensitive anymore. I dont know how I can loop with this. And I dont know what the note repeat, cc, prog change and prog select does. I cant find nearly no explanation for this. I think I need to send it back.

Hi, I’m having some issues with the software that comes with it. When I open the piano software it just makes a horrible buzzing sound, no matter what settings I adjust or what I press. Also, is it normal to get asked if this program an make changes to my PC every time I open the software manager? When it does work the volume is very low.
