@@Domi_Yomi I mean, I'm not saying it's not possible (as someone who's written, I've had cases of "oh this'll be neat eventually"), I just think it's unlikely (for the reincarnation stuff). It's something I've seen happen a lot when checking out these reactions. People are equating these earlier scenarios to plot twists that happen much later - such as Itachi actually not being a bad person. But yeah, the stuff does line up well, sometimes. Mostly because any good mangaka would look at their earlier work and line up new theories with it - in this case Zetsu checking out all the reincarnation stuff.

​@@JonathanTaylor85 Well, from Naruto's POV, your explanation kinda works, but it's not that he did it willingly. When we see a Rasengan vs Chidori clash, usually the attacks cancel each other out. However, it was different this time. We clearly see that Sasuke still had the Chidori activated. That means his jutsu passed through instead of being stopped. Sasuke noticed it and decided to strike a non-lethal zone. Naruto, on the other hand, knew he lost the moment he felt that strike in his gut, so at least he tried to land a scratch on his forehead to "prove him wrong". If both attacks were equally as strong, the result of the clash would've send them flying in opposite directions, but Sasuke was stronger here🤷.

@@quentinjones6877 He didn't though. The Chidori passed through. We know this because literally every time these two jutsus clash, they cancel each other. In here, Sasuke's Chidori was stronger and basically pierced through the Rasengan. Sasuke noticed and hesitated at the last second, changing his trajectory to Naruto's stomach. Also, when Naruto scratches Sasuke's headband, he uses his right hand (the one that had the rasengan). We see that there is no chakra in Naruto's right hand, meaning that Sasuke's Chidori went through it.

To tell you the truth, that would be pretty epic.

Also one has to wonder what if sasuke had just killed Naruto and obtained the Mangekyou Sharingan at that point in time. How would the story have changed...

Tsunade would probably be super depressed. Probably go back to gambling. The Elders would want her replace. Danzo would try to become the new Hokage. Sasuke would continue to train. Once he realizes the MS makes him go blind. He will stop using them and will just use only for emergencies. However he would have knowledge of all of his abilities. In few years his power level be the same if not a little higher than in the original series. With the nine tails dead. It would reanimate but who knows how long. It would force Otto to wait longer to do his plans. Sasuke revenge will still go as plan pretty much as the original. Perhaps better. Otto would still tell him the truth and Sasuke would still want revenge against the village. Akatsuki would never make their move to capture the tail beast. Which means Gaara would never been kidnap and Asuma never been killed. This also means all Akatsuki are all alive too. Sasuke would attack the village with help of the Akatsuki. They would easily win with Sasuke having the prefect MS from Itachi's eyes and of course Pain. Everyone be k*lled. Afterwards Otto would convince Sasuke to help him complete his plans. They will capture each tails beast and wait for the nine tails to be reanimated. Once it is. Otto with become the ten tails Jk only for Sasuke to pull a reverse UNO card and k*ll him when his back is turn. Then take over the world as dictator like in the original. Forever living in the darkness. Years later, the world will be in peace but live in fear. Ōtsutsuki will come to the planet and Sasuke will defeat them. As he would have by then build a powerful ninja army and gain great power. Isshiki Ōtsutsuki plans would have fail as well. As he would been more likely discovered before he can complete his plan. As Sasuke dictatorial rule would make it hard to hide things for too long. Well that pretty much it.

I think canon would be 2 more episodes, episode 135 and 220, god haha 85 filler episodes

I didn't like them, but I also didn't hate them. The Curse Mark was shown with the others to have a pretty macabre and evil look when in Stage 2. I think if they were, like, bat wings instead it would've been cooler.
