Please don't abandon this program, it's absolutely amazing. I started with MPCs, and moved to DAWs, The quantitization and workflow never felt right. I just discovered this program and I'm truly inspired again. Please keep developing this program, it's a winner 👍🏾

Great demo. The only thing I would recommend doing different to save time is to copy the sequence into different sequences and using the mute feature in song mode instead of making the entire song in one sequence. However this is a great presentation with a lot of useful information.

its a great little thing to have for all the old beats... to do bits on them that you cant do on the 3000 2500 an so on... but one thing i see is that its missing fx when i load up my 2500 beats eveything is there but some fx are gone an there not in this software kind of sucks

@Icestro beats 11/10. I started working with Cakewalk in 2001-->Sonor Producer 8.x. I built dozens of rigs, Scsi drives, the fastest processors (essentially gaming rigs). I have a ton of old gear etc., including a Roland FA06. IMHO this just sort of made everything obsolete. Clearly, more tracks would be great, but there is nothing stopping someone from fleshing out a significant portion of an idea, and porting it into Ableton etc. I bought an MPK mini in 2018, and sort of shelved it. I decided to look into any new developments yesterday, and literally fell out of my chair. Bravo. I mean, if these guys offered a dental plan, and free money, it would be better for sure, but what the hell, this is very well-thought out, and the tutorial(s) are simply elegant, insightful and inspiring.

I've been using MPC software since January and the way you sequence Beats has always been my issue with it. I'd make different sequences and program them in song mode. That bass to key group tip was golden

This is a DAW for people who don't like using DAW's, like me. I started using this program about a week ago, still learning my way around. So far, I love it. The layout is very good.

I love how this is not for mixing and mastering and recording and all of that. It's about a sample based beat making extension. That is a whole other process that I spend alot of time on and have a hard time just having fun making quick beats. I hope this improves my workflow

Is there an drum for MPK mini play available? I own a mini play and the DAW doesn't seem to be reading my pads, keys or knobs on the controller. It wasn't an option when choosing a drum map and I'm wondering if that has something to do with it? Thanks!

I had it for a little while, like a couple months but never really used it. Long story short, my laptop crashed, I recovered it and now I'm using it. I love it. It's not very intuitive, but once you get used to the workflow, it's a powerful workstation.

How do you rescale the individual screen menu sizes ? The sequencer window is way too small on mine being only 1/3 the size of the drumpad screens below it .

I have a akai max 49 controller but it is not in any of the choices in the mpc software to map it properly...would love to use the transport controls on the max 49 if possible. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi if keygrouping, must you take the note (let’s say) C from the sample and put it to C1/2/3/4 for it to work chromatically across the keyboard ?

hello im running into what im hoping isnt an issue with my whole controller. i follow all the steps to set everything up i go to load samples onto the drum pads and when i touch each pad i can hear the sample but also in the background i hear piano. i have already separated the midi channels in the editor. please help if you could.

When we load a program, the mapping is not done automatically. The knobs mapped to Qlinks wont work either. So is chords performance in pads. Please provide solutions. When I first installed, it was mapped correctly but now its not. I am using mpk mini mk2

Does anyone know how to make the grid bigger? I can only see about 2 inches of it. I also can't see the left side half of it is hidden under my sequence and tracks and I can only use part of it cause it's behind the track effects

Hope someone can help me because I'm about to get desperate with this program :D I tried the tape stop effect,but the thing is - i want to use to cut to another sequence that has a lot of high hats (it's sounded good). The problem is,when I add the effect,it adds it to all the sequences. I only it in that specific one. Is there anyway to get around it?tks

Why wont the MPD218 pads align with the software? example Pad 16 has no sound and two pads have identical sound while 2 or 3 pads have no sound?

The main audio sample was in dm and the Bass loop was in Fm, Do you need to find a Dm note from the sbass loop you used for the bass ?

Hello I would like to kindly know how it is to change in MPC studio in the same track while I overdubs on the same track for example a synthesizer I would like to change it with various Hybrid effects and record them is in real time by turning the knobs the effects also Thanks best regards. Is this possible?How? OR also change by selection of the single part to change ( ex only for 2 bars one effect then load another sfx and record all of single instrument ex. all on synth) MAny thanks in advance

AkaiProVideo nice! its grate that we can pull in all our old beat from the mpcs an load them up on here but there's one thing this really needs an its been able to load up all the settings from the 2500... fx an so on there not on the mix when you load up ur beats in to the mpcbeatz

How do you delete the empty space at the end of your project on the timeline? When I export the audio there is a long silence after the last note.

have just got a Force and the Free MPC beats app has made it easy for me to import midi files I've made and convert them to the MPCpattern form the Force consumes.. Not used it for much else .. but if I was starting out I'd bute his hand off for this and the MPK mini .. to me feels like a good basic beat making setup for about £70 inc hw.
