2 жыл бұрынThe South-west presidential aspirants has met in Lagos ahead of the All Progressives Congress primary is underway.
Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Ibikunle Amosun, Babatunde Fashola, Kayode Fayemi, Rauf Aregbesola and all APC Governors of the South West States are present at the Government House in Marina Lagos.
The meeting being convened by Two leaders of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Chief Olusegun Osoba and Chief Bisi Akande, is said to be for the South-west to present a common front going into the presidential primary given the number of presidential aspirants from the region.

Candidly, the South East should ordinarily produce the next President. However, a competent sitting Vice President shouldn't be prevented under any circumstance if he chooses to contest. The reasonable thing to do in APC is to conduct the presidential primary among the VP and aspirants of South East origin. But in Nigerian politics nothing is candid nor reasonable. In 2011, the South West rallied in support of Goodluck Jonathan because he was then the incumbent Vice President. As for Chief Akande and Àrẹ̀mọ Ọsọba's mediation, the question to ask is can a cat be sincere in a case concerning a rat? Asiwaju is their candidate. What the duo should have done if they mean well is to persuade Asiwaju to drop out of the race and channel his energy and resources to unify the South West in preparation for the impending challenges rather than chasing shadows. This is what elders do.

When Buhari won, you guys gave him no votes- but PMB adhered to the constitution by appointing Easterners in his government yet people from the region openly prayed for his demise but he’s still here. Igbo’s play bad politics that’s the reason why. I just don’t understand why the 3rd largest tribe in Nigeria cannot spread their tentacles and join other major party so they can hedge their votes. Without doing this, they’ll never be relevant in Nigeria politics. The issue of Biafra is another impediment. People just don’t trust them because of people like Nnamdi Kanu…

Hmm, this arrangement is one-sided. Why is the VP not treated well like Tinubu? After all, VP is a better off candidate than Tinubu and others. The only effective way of moving Nigeria forward is to give Osinbajo the ticket. He has the knowledge, discipline, wisdom and knows the way.

But Osinbajo is already a vice President near to president. Nigeria should be like Belgium. Meaning 3 in 1. Dutch part, French part and the German part but Brussels as the capital. Every region is happy. Life is very good in Belgium because I base in the Dutch part of Belgium. Nigeria. Hausa part, Yoruba part and lbo part . Abuja as the capital. Every region manage their resources. Apart from this. The poor citizens of Nigeria will continue to live in poverty because of the wrong draft of the constitution.

Majority of people in that room are all beneficiaries of Tinubu especially the vice President so it is expected that they wil give him respect and treat him more favourably. Beware, I am not going to vote for tinubu or the vice president. They are not what Nigeria needs at the moment

It's beyond that your thinking my brother, Osinbajo will be easily pushed around by the cabals which they can't do with Tinubu and Nigeria needs a policy maker and nation builder. I believe you know Governors make impact than vice presidents or can you tell us the impact Atiku Abubakar, Namadi Sambo and even Yemi Osinbajo has made vice presidents that gave them challenge or tough time to know better. Its most likely done by the president.

See how time changes, Osibanjo that probably used to postrait for tinubu before is now shaking hands with him like they are mates( just joking). As far as I am concerned it was tinubu who made a mistake by not making him to sign a water tight agreement that he will not contest for the president as long as he is in the race, you don't make someone vice president from no where and not make concrete demands on the person. That said Osibanjo is a far better Candidate than Tinubu but I am neither voting for neither of them as they are all cut out from the Same cloth and they are not what the country needs at the moment

That's the error most Nigerians are making..It was Rauf aregbesola that nominated osibajo..osibajo was the last person on the list of 4 people submitted to buhari...tinubu was given the honour to nominate a vice president..but the person he nominated was not supported by Bisi akande and rauf aregbesola...it was Rauf aregbesola that suggested osibajo and called amosun to go pick osibajo to meet buhari...even at that tinubu never supported it but had no choice because time to submit the name of the vice president was against them..Tinubu never nominated osibajo it was Rauf aregbesola and Amosun..

We need him, he has the capability, knowledge, wisdom, passion, God fearing, experience and love too all the Nigerians. He doesn't believe in division and he doesn't betrayal his people which is Nigeria, he believes in unity of Nigeria. You saw how he brought RIVERS state in good condition when he was the governor of RIVERS state and you saw all the good things he is doing as minister for Transportation . He doesn't believe in gods father, he believes in equality, justice, fairness, unity and keeping too his good promises by the reason why he is going to be elected as president of Nigeria. So let us give him chance by voting him in 2023 election as the president elect of Nigeria and he will remove Nigeria's out of bad influence, poverty, bad economy, bad roads, low currency and he will restore peace, dignity and freedom of speech in Nigeria etc. Off which, GOD ALMIGHTY has already written it and know body can stop him.
