Akatsuki Blitzkampf is a doujin fighter released by Subtle Style in 2007. I really enjoy the game's theme of militarism, the soundtrack, the gameplay, and the art. The developer can be found here: subtlestyle.net/

I plan on remaking this video on VALHALL difficulty. I've gotten better at this game since this video was made. I also plan on making more playthroughs with Blitztank and Adler.

I thought that too, his transition over to UNIEL was really smooth, he is like, exactly the same.

@@LinneRinne Well the controls are somewhat the same. Light - Medium - Heavy Plus the way the way ABK uses combos allowed Akatsuki's transition to be smoother. Kinda wish they would've added Soldat on there, and Arcueid to even it out.

I like how they remixed the intro of this game for Akatsuki in UNIB I think this fit him more than his theme in this game

Lim Yong, Steffen Yes. When UNIST comes to PC on August 20, I'm gonna buy it and main Akatsuki. I like his voice, and his design. His line when throwing is my favourite for some reason.

Lim Yong, Steffen If they ever add a dub to UNIB, I'll probably keep Akatsuki in Japanese. Gordeau however... Ian Sinclair is perfect.

Fritz looks like he fits in Samurai Shodown. Also, the blood present gives the game a bit of an edge. I honestly like it. It's not over the top as Mortal Kombat's gore.

@@unknownguy8687 Oh no, you're not being rude at all. If you want more anime Akatsuki, look up EN-Eins Perfektewelt, the sequel to this game. That game's aesthetic is more bright and colorful.

I remember first playing the PC version of ABK back in 2013....except arcade. Good times. Didnt know about the unblockable characters until Best Friends came in. They kinda ruined the surprise for me with Blitztank.

Thanks for posting this. Watching this vid & reading up on who the characters are on Wikipedia helped me understand all this a bit. Unique characters, and some very pretty female ones. That Fritz w/the sword causes serious bleeding. 0.0 Good playthrough!

They weren't actually outright confirmed, it's commonly speculated that the Akatsuki Blitzkampf/EN-Eins Perfektewelt and Senran Kagura names are just placeholder names. But still, I would love to see Akatsuki get in.

Adler has given me SO much trouble, even in Normal mode. EDIT: Huh, forgot that Adler was a maniac in later revisions. He just looked like a clone general in Version 1.

He was just a palette swap of Elektrosoldat at first, until later patches made him his own character. Like Mycale and Perfecti.

Do you perhaps know how to get the game to play in full screen? I can’t manage to get it to work in that mode. Or is there a way to increase the window size in the config that I’m not aware of?

I think it has to do with the config program. I forgot how I did it.
