Despite her reputation, she will only associate with truly honest people. It really is the world that's wrong for hating her, in a way. She has all the right to be this smug about human duplicity. Yeah, Satori aren't just hated because of mindreading, but because on a species level they are smug jerks about it. Even Koishi, who acts on subconcious and can't read minds is STILL a massive jerk [Her actions during HM and also things like "because you have no freinds?"], Satoris are literally jerks at a subconcious level. It takes a special kind of youkai to be loathed by the loathed.
