DONT MISS THE END CREDIT SCENE :-) PS: There is a noticeable lack of detail in the lows and highs which is what i meant by the lack of codec support holding these back on the sound quality front.

So I bought these on a whim, based on Crin's say-so because he's so damn cool; but I also wanted a second opinion, and yours was excellent!! You've only been around for just over 2 years, HOWEVER..I like yer style and I think you have a GREAT future ahead of ya, IMHO. So keep up the good work and don't hesitate to add any flare you feel is necessary, because I think you can pull it off 👍 Best of Luck!

The most on point review on this product out there. I just got one for about 70 dollars. The stand out feature is the sound quality (audiophile tuning) but the rest of the features doesn't work well or just dated in 2023. The short battery life means you have to practically charge it everyday. Getting a good fit is very important. Sound is meh until I use the medium silicone tips and large wings. These won't be my daily drivers but they are great for relaxing listening at home.

Recently purchased these IEMs, and I so far am satisfied. On that note, how do the TalkThrough and Ambient Aware features work? When I activate the TalkThrough feature my audio fades to an almost inaudible volume. I thought that the TalkThrough feature was to allow both use of the IEMs and conversation simultaneously, however I may be wrong. The ambient aware feature has a similar issue, except that if you are playing audio, instead of being quieted, it overpowers the outside audio, though I may just have my music too loud. Any comment on either of these issues would be much appreciated.
@imwhatsnew2 жыл бұрын
To my knowledge the ambient aware mode works the same as any other BT iems...

You were right until I switch to XL ear tips (to have a proper seal) which improved the overall sound quality dramatically, give it a shot! Your problem of lack of ANC and wind noise solved.
@imwhatsnew2 жыл бұрын
No..i always make sure i have a good deal. The ANC didn't compare with other options on the market. Plus the wind noise transmits through the earbud and into the ear i think. But if it's solved for you then that's a great thing!

I also had a look at the package when my ear buds came to me. I didn't notice any braille markings on the case. I'm blind so I think I would have noticed something like that.
@imwhatsnew2 жыл бұрын
@@joshuahendrickson4854 hmm ..well there were dots that looked like braille but I could easily be wrong. The braille is not on the back it's on the side. How would you compare them to the Sony WF-1000-XM4’s? In terms of comfort, how secure they stay in ear, and sound quality?
@imwhatsnew2 жыл бұрын
Well for me the XM4 were great for long listening sessions but the AKG was more secure while running.(xm4 may or may not be as secure depending on ear shape and size but the AKG has the silicon wing tip to help). Sound quality wise, they have very different signature tunings ..with Sony having way more detail due to the ldac codec. Lol this is a topic for an entire video in I'm being honest.
@BigBear--2 жыл бұрын
Yeah…I get the LDAC coding, but that’s a “feature” and doesn’t have much to do with the normal natural sound/tuning of the buds. My main question is how’s the sound quality/tuning between the two options? I mostly watch video content, not play music.
@imwhatsnew2 жыл бұрын
@@BigBear-- well more detail is a part of sound quality. But if it's just tuning you're talking about... The Sony is bass boosted running with a darker sound overall because of the comparatively rolled off highs. You can eq the mids and highs up in the app to balance this out. The AKG won't need eq for most people except to maybe reduce the highs a smidge if you're sensitive to that. You could look up their frequency response graphs on in ear fidelity for a better idea and comparison.
@BigBear--2 жыл бұрын
Thanks, that’s what the graphs showed, I was just wondering what they sounded like in person. I just went ahead and got the AKG’s for now, they’re on sale for $48, which seemed like a steal to me.
@imwhatsnew2 жыл бұрын
@@BigBear-- well the XM4 has a surprising amount of staging and decent imaging... And the mids and highs are delivered delicately... Best way I can explain it. I quite like it overall. Good luck with your purchase!

I mean if you need to have one pair of buds to do it all, then yeah sure. But if you need these buds only for specific use-cases at home or running on your own or something, can't imagine that paying 3x-5x as much for a pair of buds that don't even do many things as well as these makes much sense. I think people get so hung up on what "the best" buds currently out are, rather than actually finding something that benefits your use-case. I have a pair of these AKG for home, a pair of Sony XM3s (always heavily discounted now) for in-public use, and a $25 cheap water proof pair for showering, and that all combined still cost less than 1 pair of XM4s at the time
