Anamika Joshi (@battokibakwaas ) performs under the name 'Batto' and calls it 'Batto Ki Bakwaas'. Her first poem "Maa tum bhi galat ho sakti ho" got immense love and won hearts beyond borders. She picks weird unsaid topics that exists all around us, but often go unnoticed. After surviving as a copywriter for 10 years, she recently discovered her love for a mic and an audience, which she says brings the best out of her as a writer and a performer.
Currently, she is working on launching her podcast to continue with her bakwaas and bring stories around artists and performers from all across.

My sister who's a doctor is facing the same. * *smiles ironically and sadly* * This patriarchal mentality is deeply ingrained in the mind of people of our society right from upper class to lower class irrespective of our professions. İt is time to take a stand and speak up for yourselves all you educated ladies, then only those dependent females will gather the courage to speak up for themselves.

Though I agree with every word she says, there are certain grey areas where every relationship fails: 1) Equality in marriage 2) No boundaries for both 3) Both shouldn't judge each other if they spend time with the opposite sex of their liking 4) No desire for special status for both 5) Both shouldn't object on each other's habits 6) Both should not try teaching each other what their responsibilities are? 7) Both shouldn't be touchy about criticism 8) Both shouldn't judge each other if they couldn't help each other at the time of need. 9) Both should take care of their financial responsibilities and pool in equal amount if they have kids. 10) Both should not take each other for granted.

So these are the terms and conditions to get married? Suppose one person, that could be anyone wife or husband likes to go for drink and clubbing and the another one don't like. So if one is sitting at home and another one is going for clubbing or drinking and coming home late, still that person has to think and convince him self that no whatever the time he/she came late but still I trust him/her, I don't mind he/she coming late, I am very broad minded person....I am sorry but this is not possible, there should be some boundaries.... Suppose at home if we buy something heavy things automatically the male person of the family goes and pick that up, so now is there equality, no right? That time female will say you are a man go and pick that one. Many people who are living in the metro cities are belongs to small town or any village, when you guys goes to hometown or village the female herself starts to wearing sarees, why she can't herself wears what she was wearing in metro cities. Beacuse jaisa desh vaisa bhesh... Agar equality hi hoti to Bhagwan ne bhi do alag alag gender nahi banaye hote..... Please go and check the divorce percentages of western(europian and American) countries, all are very high. Ye sab isi ka natija he... If you are getting married then yes there are limits and boundries that you have to follow.... In math also the two things are equal when they are same, men and women are two different genders so they are also not equal..... I am not a narrow minded person, but these all what I explained are facts you all can't deny that....

In our society, for every Men who is a perpetrator there are also a Man who is suffering in silence. Emotional abuse isn't Gender specific. Narcissism isn't Gender specific. I do agree with ur each word...this narration is gender biased...I don't understand y every one show women exploitation..I have seen many mens who r exploited by women ..This female sympathy card will play for how long that God knows....I don't like this narration at all...so much hatred, frustration from men..better such people should not marry with men atleast.our law has given so many freedom to marry anyone now...I hope then no one will suffer ...

Really true words.. हम जिस दिन ये कहना छोड़ देंगे की औरतों की इज़्ज़त करो। औरतों का सम्मान करो। उस दिन सही मायनों में बराबरी होगी।indirectly ये लोग हमको ये याद दिलाते हैं कि हमारी कोई इज़्ज़त नहीं। हमको इज़्ज़त की ज़रूरत है। कोई ये क्यों नहीं कहता की पुरुषो की इज़्ज़त करो। हमे नहीं चाहिए वो इज़्ज़त जो मांगने से मिले। there should be no gender parameter. Treat everyone as HUMAN only.

I appreciate this poem. Khana banana is always linked with sanakar. Maa baap ne kuch sikhaya hi nai.... I felt sorry for them who dislikes this video. Those are one of them, who doesn't want to empower womens, so called men🖕

बहुत सही कहा आपने। ये modern जमाने की सच्चाई है। औरतो के लिये ना पहले जमाना बद्ला था ना आज बद्ला है। बस किसी ना किसी तरीके से पुरुष को अपने आप को बेहतर दिखना है चाहे वो ये बोलके दिखाना हो की मैं तुम्हे ये करने देता हू या ये की मैं तुम्हे ये करने नही दे सकता। उनका control नही खत्म होना चाहिये आखिर वो पति है कोई मामूली इन्सान नही।

The premise that feminism is only upheld by women and male chauvinism is carried out just by men, is very wrong to begin with. Male chauvinist ideologies and practices are carried out by large number of women who enforces/ expects the same practices that made them suffer. And then there are opportunists who switched ideologies and adapts whatever is convenient for them in a given time/ situation.
