The biggest roadblock to us building this in real life is the power supply. We have exoskeletons (google it, they're cool; still bulky though) and the tech is getting better and better, but it has to be plugged in or runs on some pretty hefty batteries. Then you have the way his flight works, there is no fuel like in a rocket that creates thrust, instead he uses Stark repulsar tech... which isn't something we have at all. It then runs off the power from the Arc Reactor as well. So that thing in his chest (that much power that small) and repulsar tech are out of our current understanding. JARVIS is also beyond our current AI with the LLMs and all that. But not crazy far.

This movie is part of the reason I wanted to be an inventor/engineer and I'm sure when this movie came out, others wanted to become an engineer too because of this movie and wanted to build the suit of armor. I'm glad you reacted to this! I'm subbing!

My boys, I saw this movie when I was 12yrs old, I'm about to be 27 in few weeks, this hits me hard in the nostalgia feelings! TuT Such a good movie. A little information. Robert Downey. Jr. was in fact born to be Tony Stark, Stan Lee said it himself in a little interview while filming the movie. It's almost irony, because the actor had a difficult time when he went to jail due to skipping court-ordered drugs tests, yes, he was a drug addict. Getting the part of Iron Man was like his first Big Hit after reforming himself. Buckle up my boys!!! It's gonna be quite a ride! :D
