Dick is voor mij de LEGEND in vechtsport !!!! Heb veel bodybuilders en vechters ontmoet in mijn sport , maar Dick is enige die echt indruk op me maakt , zwaaaar fan !!! Paar keer met hem bij mijn coach Willem Jonkman getraind , zeer beleefde man , !!!!

dit was een "work" en dick hield zich nog in. Verder idd een toppertje maar deze tijden in Rings japan waren er veel "works" ala pro wrestling..

This fight was funny 😀 at least when they grapple they can hide the circus.. But Vrij was clearly pulling the punches, and Maeda for some "mysterious" reason chose to fight a striker on his feet, even though Maeda's strength was grappling.. I guess in this instance Maeda promised Vrij that he would win the tournament.. I personally enjoyed fights of Volk Han, as well as Hans Neiman (as far as pro-wrestling part of Rings).. in later stages when Rings became actual contact-combat sports, such legends as Igor Vovchanchin & Fedor Emelianenko come to mind..

Yeah...RINGS was pro wrestling up until 1999. RINGS advertised itself as "real fighting" at the time since MMA wasn't a thing until later on, but most of the matches were "works"
