just threw some of these on an akko 3068b and it sounds fantastic. they're cheap and they sound great. obviously the switches that cost 4x as much sound better, but only marginally. super pleased with these

Yes Akko's Jelly sit looser on the PCB compared to Gaterons and Cherrys (noob here only 3 brands), but they wobble less on their stems compared to what i've been using. Just my 2 cents 😀

Akko jelly switches have the least stem wobble by a large margin than most switches

Got some Jelly blacks myself after trying some Akko Lavenders, and the Jelly Blacks are pretty good for the price, I'm guessing the feeling Pete is saying about it not being "Thick and Smooth" is the switch is snappy from the extended spring

I agree. My keyboard had Gateron Yellow Pro switches - although in both cases the triggering force is 50 grams, but it is easier for me to control the pressing of the Gaterons (Jelly black has a 22 mm spring, and Gaterons have 15) and because of this I can type quieter without constantly pressing the switch to the very bottom. I also liked the sound of the Gaterons more - more low frequencies. I've heard that Akko switches are very smooth, but most of mine are sharp, I won't lube them, I'll just take them back to the store (Gateron also did not lube after purchase, I have been using it for the second month).

Akko makes quite good linears ngl, but i dont know about the tactiles or clickys since they're not as popular as the Akko linears.

I like their tactiles more than some major tactiles like Neapolitan, coffee chips, Anubis. Tactile feel not as strong as Anubis and others, but sound equal and better than some

what do you recommend out of the three akko switches? black, pink, or silver?

Pinks are clicky--so that's a totally different sound and feel. Blacks are really great--BUT THE SILVERS have really captured my heart. They're still in my keyboard today from reviewing them a month ago.

Milky Yellow. Smoother, thicker, and easier to mod/lube!

wait can i ask before i buy these was the board modded in anyway such as lubed stabs or tape mod as i want know that general sound of the switches with some mods that i already have done to my board

Yup! The KBD67 kit comes with some foam dampening in the case, and I lubed the stabs for sure :) No further custom mods on my part though

Do they feel much better when lubed? They sound pretty much the same so I dont think I'll bother if theres barely any difference.

A tiny difference. If they'll be your full-time "every day driver" switches, lube em. If they're not forever switches, skip it.

I'm gonna be honest, I am really not a fan of every switch manufacturer starting to do their own take on a box switch like this. They are just kinda weird to me. Nice video as always though!

I'm afraid that problem is going to get worse before it gets better. More companies making "ALL THE SWITCHES" these days. Soooo many

What's wrong with that? The tab, caps lock and slashes keys (which do not have stabilizers) wobble less. Just like the others.

dont ever buy this switch, it is a pain in the ass in lubing, the spring is too freaking long for u to put it back the switches after lubing them
