He wrote and composed most of the songs himself. The lyrics he writes are unusual and always fresh. It can be difficult to convey emotions through automatically translated lyrics.

한글에서만 느낄 수 있는 야들야들하고 간질간질한 차이를 이쁘게 번역할 수 있는 능력자가 있으면 참 좋겠네요. 외국인에게 다른 외국의 노랫말을 이해시킨다는 것 자체가 정말 어려울 것 같기는 합니다.

이 아이들이 음악성과 창작성에 최대 칭찬을 받았던 아이들 입니다... 기존에 작곡법에 없던것을 만들어 내는데 전혀 불편하지 않아요... 이 아이들은 한국의 유명 가수나 작곡가가 될 과학계의 에디슨 같은 애들 입니다~ 지켜봐 주세요~ 한국의 전통 음악인 창 이라는 장르와 민요(백성의 민심을 노래~)를 들어 보시면 왜? 한국인들이 없던 세계를 만들어 내는지 비로서 이해 하시게 될겁니다... 들어 보신다면 지구 상에서 들어보지 못한 음률을 만나게 될겁니다...5음계가 더 깊은 전달을 준다는 것을요~

AKMU는 모두 오빠가 작곡,작사 그리고 편곡는 해병대 전역이후 협업하는데... 찬혁이 원하는 편곡가이드 정해주고 있거나,공동작업 합니다. 아이돌 이 아니고 아티스트

깊이 관여라고 하니깐 이상하네….혼자서 멜로디 작곡 가사 작사 다 한다음에 그냥 다른 분들은 그 어쿠스틱 위에 악기(드럼,일렉 등등 여러 사운드)얹어주는게 전부인데 물론 그부분도 이찬혁도 같이 하겠지만 솔직히 이제 혼자 할 수 있는데 yg프로듀서의 의견이도 듣고 조금의 도움을 받을 수 있을까 같이하는 건데..오해하겠다
