@@Hvacmania I dont know if the number is accurate. He made so much money rapping he bought a mansion. Tried to move his grandmother in she said no. So he wanted to help her get plumbing and electricity. Trying to do that he realized he had to get it for the whole neighborhood to get it for her house. So he went to try to get them all electricity. In doing so he felt bad for the people that didn't have it. So he started working with companys and even governments getting Grant's to help people which is why he hasn't been releasing music.

I think people forget that Akon was helping out Africa for a good few years that’s why he went really quite in the music scene now he is back in the music scene again with a new album and a Latin beat with Akon voice is gold.
