Right the real story behind this is … akshay won an award for the best actor for Singh is king… the same year aamir Khan was nominated for the same category for Ghajni… but akshay won! And than akshay refused to take the award and declared that aamir was deserving for ghajni so akshay dedicates this award to Aamir and refused to take the award for Singh is king as a best actor ! Such a nice gesture !! But despite all that aamir didn’t say thanks to akshay or neither he contacted him to show his gratitude towards akshay’s gesture ! Neither he accepted the award akshay dedicated to aamir ! And akshay was well disheartened by aamir khan’s stone heart !! Akshay has all the rights to ignore aamir since then! Well done akshay I am with you ! Aamir should have thanked you for what you did for him!

Indian movie goers only admire the actors playing characters with high moral ground and try to resonate with the actors' real life and their reel life, he knows that very well. e.g. People really thinks Imran Hashmi is womanizer.
