I can't agree with this, especially even more with the final shape. Forsaken has a few tracks in top 5, rhulks theme, oneirophobia, unmade and stronger together are easily leagues above this piece.

It's like some way ahead of its time action movie script from the 80's. I love it.

Even better, the raid itself is the sci-fi post-apocalyptic epitome of an Arthurian Legend. Aksis is essentially the equivalent of a dragon, and we're the knights sent out to slay him and put an end to his demonic nanotech machine god cult. Easily the coolest raid of all time.

Sure “Wrath of the Machine” typically refers to SIVA’s wrath (the Splicers), but it could also be read as the Traveler’s wrath (the Guardians). The Fallen worship machines and once worshipped the Traveler, which they call the Great Machine”. And in the raid, agents of the Traveler (us Guardians) storm the Devil Splicers’ lair and take out their high command. In this sense, the Guardians are-to the Fallen-the “wrath of the Machine”, being brought down upon them for their heresy of trying to ascend to mechanical godhood against the Traveler’s chosen people. We ARE the wrath of the Machine.

When Wrath comes back I hope the exotic they add to it as a Kinetic SIVA Trace Rifle, since Outbreak's already in the game.

We know TFS has two dungeons, and three Episodes. The second Episode is called “Revenant” and has an image of Fikrul. I would imagine that a perfect time for Wrath to come back when they get to working on it. After all, the team is busy on the Final Shape raid right now.

@@progenitor_amborella I think if anything, they’ll reprise the Prison of The Elders… The whole “Forsaken” fiasco started with the barons breaking out of the prison, so what better capstone to their tale then us killing them as bosses in the reprised prison over and over? There are 8 barons (9 if you counted Uldren himself), so you could make the prison of elders into a proper 6 man activity by us fight all the barons throughout, until the final boss where it’s Fikrul and whatever 2 other Barons we didn’t kill at the same time.

But bungie is just a small 3 man indie dev. Why would they spend their limited resources and overdeliver on our expectations to port Wrath to destiny 2 when they can just bring in crota given that half the assets are literally already in the game.
