Erroratu basically most of the character themes from EX3 is actually from SF EX, thats why its good :) (with the exception of Garuda's EX2 Plus Theme "More Stronger", its one of the best!)

The input(Usually; there have been exceptions) is hold down for two seconds, then up and a kick button. So by default, you have to crouch for a little. Unless you are a computer(Which can do it instantly) or in some manner of combo string where you can hold down during it, effectively doing the charge between hits.

I always find the best way to do the Raging Demon is after a foot sweep. Foot Sweep trips them, then the person gets up, and right after they get up, they get grabbed and it's over. Another cool thing is that Bison's leg throw he has in later games was taken from this game.

Oh man! EX2+ here in Davao, when arcades were still a thing, was extremely HUGE! It was the game kids lined up for and get wrecked by that kid that stays in the arcade from morning till closing hours!

Ex Pkus was a huge step in the right direction. Fun combos and implementing solid game mechanics. Guard break would pave the way for focus attack and hell, the debut of the trial mode for the port. Boss Bison is shin bison. For the ps you can highlight Bison, hold start and access him or the boss version of Garuda with extra counter move. Dammit. I bet I'm not the only one that was waiting for dive kick after air fireball.

Fun fact: This is one of those games that can do freaky "reverse charge moves," where you charge up K (like you would the down), and as you release it, tap "down up" and it'll still Flash Kick!

I gotta say, Whilst I never played this half as much as Alpha/Zero 2 in my local arcade back in the day, I love the costume colours in this, Ryu in Blue looks great, as does Chun Li in the White with gold trim.

I enjoyed the EX series quite a bit back in the day. It could've been a disaster, and it certainly wasn't a highlight of the franchise, but it brought us Skullomania. And some awesome music!

Some of those trials were beastly. Especially Kairi's. What was it again? Jump in fierce, crouch fierce into dp cancel into super (qcbx2+punch!?) etc. Hell for dpad players.

i am a d-pad playa! :D i just cant get used to sticks. but i finished the expert mode! :D imo practicing combos at the expert mode in ex+a or ex2 is essential to learn how to make combos

Ex2Plus was a cinch compared to ExPlusAlpha. Guile and Bison are easy for me now that I understand the shortcuts from charge move to super. That Kairi one I mentioned though. There'd be a whole year where that was the one I couldn't perform since my d-pad had become so janky and sensitive. Ahh those Tekken 3 talon claw days.

dude bison's appearance and moves are most awesome here. i dont like him in any other SF game but here he's the shit! hmm what's "dp" cancel? oh dragonpunch heheh. i'm not familiar with abbreviations. i was a loner during my SF years :( didnt have friends to fight against -_- yea, that's a bitch to do indeed; u have to just be quick as shit heheh, but i pulled it off. the hardest thing to do tho is guile's last combo: canceling the super summersault with the other supermove. but i managed to do it by cheating a little; i used the pause button to maximize the loading of the 2nd supermove hehehe. otherwise it's just impossibru

Right here with ya. EX + Alpha on PS1 is what gave me all my practice with combos with the trials it had. I remember one Ken combo you had to do was a number of hits into Reppa, cancel Reppa into Shinryuken, cancel the first hit of Shinryu back into another Reppa before you left the ground. I really wish SF5 had a similar combo system where you could experiment and really come up with all kinds of crazy shit. I love the game, but it could be so much more fun.

That was Shin Bison. You always get Shin Bison in EX. In EX Plus @ you can fight Shin Akuma if you get enough perfects, first attacks, etc.

I always played Ken but occasionally geruda and akuma. My cousin would air hadouken into down medium kick to zone. I'm a bit surprised I haven't seen max do this at all.

If only I was there to remind Max Akuma has a ground Super fire ball in this one. I still remember it like I was 14 yesterday. Jump in H kick, crouch M punch, crouch M kick, uppercut, super fireball, into supper uppercut, then super air fire ball. 75%+ gone

The music on the home version(Ex plus aphla) was much better. Even though it was just remixes of this, the arrangements and instrumentation was as they say, GODLIKE!
