I remember seeing that sketch, it's from Roseanne's episode right after she sang the national anthem all shitty at a baseball game as a joke. And that was one of the comedy killers they mentioned in the sketch lol.

So tired of these guys disclaiming that things used to be different, you used to be able to make racist jokes as if it were a more understanding time. Yeah, and there was more racism then too. Almost like it reflected what was bad in our culture. Watching him interview a drag queen on the daily show was painful. He’s a awful relic. Goodbye!

No. He was wrong. One of the many issues with SNL. The sketch should've run. From the hundreds of anecdotes I've heard versus what was aired, it seems the majority of the most interesting sketches never made it. It's sad. I've no idea how or why SNL continues. It's awful.
