@@Adam10412 Modern blind followers of Sheikh MIAW who, btw, was ocastrated by the Hanbali ulama of his time including his older brother Sheikh Sulayman Ibn Abdulwahhab (RA) and his father who were more knowledgeable than him and even taught him the deen all made a fatwa declaring him an innovator and a deviant misguided khawarij. The great Hanbali mufti from Mecca called him the devil horns in relation to the Najd (prophetic traditions warned us about). Only this deviant group disrespect him but historically all the ulama from all four schools praised him as a mujahid and depended on Ghalazi methods when it came to fiq as he was one of the greatest scholars the ummah had ever produced.

@@palashkolkata Because an infinite past means that 'it' existed always in the past without any causator or anything that it depends upon to exist, which is logically impossible (unless you can prove how something which is susceptible to addition can be infinite). Whereas the infinite future that we're talking about is a heaven & hell which is maintained by Allah until He doesn't want to maintain it no more (which at that point make it not infinite anymore). But because we are promised by Allah an infinite abode in paradise or hell who will be maintained by His will, is why we believe in it.

Imam Ghazali (RA) contribution to Ummah left a fat mark so much so that every madhab uses his techniques to build their foundation in Fiq even one of the greatest Hanbali scholars called Ibn Qudama (RA) used Ghazali principles for the Hanbali jurisprudence which is why Imam Qaduma (RA) is highly praised in the Hanbali madhab not realizing Imam Ghazali (RA) was the reason behind his success. Imam Ghazali (RA) was a mujahid of his century. He was one of those people the prophet (PBUH) prophesized that would reform the religion and introduce new methods to explain, understand and preserve Islam. Imam Ghazali (RA) was called the Sheikhs of Sheikhs where thousands of Sheikhs around the world (ulama) would attend, gather and debate in front of Imam Al Ghazali where Imam Al Ghazali was the mediator in Baghdad. He defeated all the philosophers, anthropomorphist's and other deviant sects and false religions and manage to revert them to the true path of Islam. The amount of non-Muslims that were converted to Islam by Al-Ghazali is a record that very few Muslims have achieved. He was called the greatest scholar of his century and all the ulama respected and loved him. Imam Al Ghazali became an Awliyah in his later life after he gave up teaching and he disposed his wealth and adopted an ascetic lifestyle. May Allah send him to the highest paradise, ameen.

With all due respect to hujjatul islam, that first part about ibn qudamah being praised due to the mark of imam al ghazali is nonsense. Imam ibn qudamah was an exceptional faqeeh in his own right. He had one book where he agreed from imam al ghazali’s categorisation of some issues in al Mustasfa and thats it. AdhDhahabi attests to ibn qudamah’s brilliance, calling him one of the most intelligent men of his time. So stop maligning muwaffaq ad-din by attributing his work entirely to hujjatul islam al ghazali

@Mike J This is the opinion of the orientalists and they have been refuted. The reason why they say this is because he exposed philosophy to be nonsense and he exposed the belief of atheists being irrational and illogical that is why they had to make this crap up. In reality, Al Ghazali (RA) promoted knowledge and the fall of the Islamic golden age was due to the incompetence of the Abbasid rulers and the sacking of Baghdad by savage Mongols. Imam Ghazali (RA) had no affect whatsoever and the outcome would've been the same even if he did not exist.

Brother Muhammad, this is so necessary for me regarding the science of physics which I never studied. My Shaykh Fawzi (Allah yarhamuhu)from Misr, referred to as the lion of Tawheed, said to me before he died that I must stop so much concentration on comparative religion and study science. When I rejected that idea saying that I never liked it and I'm not good in it he said "well then go learn it" I imagined how difficult it would be and expressed my age as an excuse, he said it's for your people because they will not believe in anything that they cannot touch, see, hear or feel. in other words his view was that there was little spirituality in America. Of this I'm not sure, but I am sure that you are sorely needed in the entire English speaking world may Allah give you the International audience you deserve.

Incredible life story of Iman Ali Ghazali. How did he become to " the proof of Islam" " O my Lord, my King ! Your order is a blessing to me" Tell my crying friends who saw me dead, tell my pained brothers and sisters in Islam. "Do not assume I am really dead, by God keep away from saying it is a death. I am a sparrow and this body is my cage, I flew away from the cage and the body remained. I was like a dead man among you this morning, I lived for a while and then wore a shroud. Do not assume the death is permanent, know that it is life and it is highly desired. Do not assume death is violence and pain, it is only moving from one house to another. Take what you need and be prepared for the road, if you are smart, do not get busy with anything else. Pray for me to be blessed so you are blessed, we went away knowing that you are next. "Peace Be Upon You" are my last words to you ! May Allah Save You. What else is there to say ? ...

Ghazali …. sorry …. this is not “bias” - we should have no bias of the latter day scholars ….. but I had no clue what I was getting into when I bought the Iqtisad many a times ago, 14 works later (and that only includes one book within the Ihya - so 13) - and yes I have gone through many works of great minds like Taymiyyah and Nawawi….. no one, no oneeeee - has the MIND LIKE ABU HAMID AL-GHAZALI - The Tahafut for instance is not FOR ANYONEEEE who does not understand philosophy & Logic.. and he beat them at their own game…… he makes you realize that you are not where you need to be, and he throws his faults out their with no shame! - a genius of genius …. his showing of the various ad absurdum of the Ismailis, the Sina philosophy, the Mutazalite thinking etc…. he was THEE goal tender of what could have been corrupted Islam greatly…. because those three things were UBIQUITOUS AND GROWING in his time More look at Quantum physics …. They write many academic journals on Ghazali ….. and how this man was on point on the micro level of the cosmos…. non-locality of Quantum theory “the bad child” of the Big Bang…. the Big Bang as in the way that the MAJORITY believed it happened…..puts a hole in something coming from nothing …. and Ghazali was very deep in such things, that show bakward causation - faster than light communication - where every particle is related to EVERY SINGLE PARTICLE in the cosmos (akin to a Ghost in a way)…. talk about whoo whoo, peculiar thing that can be shown and tested…. well Ghazali was on this 1000 years ago… what David Bohm and John Bell years later had showed to be true such an equation (let alone the double slit experiment)

By the way in terms of becoming the best Muslim you can (forget the ahādiths because there mixed in with soo many authentic hadith’s that have THE SAME meaning…. he was a everythingggg BUT a Muhadidith … and even that he was getting into to master it all before he passed so young) - but in that case , read the entire Ihya Ulum ad-Din .. and start from the beginning, he wrote it in the order as he did and you will see why… BRILLIANT 2. Read the Iqtisad fi al-i’tiqad …. want to know where the veracity of the proof of GOD for atheists… (not us) but delusional people that dont believe in a Necessary Existent - then read the Iqtisad a very underestimated work by the man (Kalam Cosmological Argument… yes - it was this work that finalized and made this “argument” fool proof via Priori 3. Jawahir al-Qur'an wa duraru (jewels and pearls of the Qur’an…. I cant put it in words but read it) 4. Want to see how a brilliant man makes arguments even better for the same he is about to demolish, and then procceeds to make their argument even deeper and then properly, properly, demolishes them by showing how their own arguments when you run them into a 360 degree circle that they indeed contradict themselves and then GIVES A COHERENT ANSWER - hard reads - but then read the Tahāfut al-Falasifah and al-Mustaẓhirī 5. Sure nothing is more “important” and more influential than the Risala by Shafi’i but the complete work of Usul to a new level of Fiqh …. Read the Al-Mustasfa min 'ilm al-usul 6. Why is it inherently dangerous just to make takfir takfir takfir…. and actually CALLS OUT groups like ISIS to come and he even says it will get worst …. read the Faysal al-tafriqa 7. Whats next to read? Don’t stop lol as Nawawi said “if every scholarly work to diminish… but the ‘Ihya’ survived, Islam would survive” … and obviously he meant that the Qur’an is obviously THIS DIN and said “scholarly works”… but in terms of scholarly works… he said what he said, and he is right - IT COVERS IT ALL, in such a profound way (touching on everyy subject in-depth)- and its not about being “look at me” and my knowledge type book/volumed work … rather this work was for “us”…..us as in learning from his mistakes, mistakes he has seen and to become the best Believer you can… all about how to deal with this dunya, but in this dunya, the purpose is to seek Allah swt and the Akhirah

Dhikr (ذِكْر, /ðɪkr ) in Islam .. is a form of Islamic prayer, repeated or chanted in order to remember Allah (swt). The Remembrance of Allah (swt) ... is known as 'Adhkar' , legislating 'Duas or Supplications'. such as : "Glory be to Allah" and "All Praise be to Allah". Adhkar is important in Islam as a Pledge of Servitude (Ubudiyyah) to Allah (swt) ... For instance : to acknowledge ones weakness and the need for Allah (swt) in ones Life. The Pledge of Servitude ('Ubudiyyah) to Him. This is achieved by supplicating (Dhikr ) and praising (Adhkar) Him. The Four reasons why Adhkār will inspire One to Love Allah (swt) more ... 1. to Fear Him alone, 2. to have Hope in Him, 3. to Submit to Him 4. and to be Grateful to Him. Allah's (swt) Favourite Dhikr (ذِكْر, /ðɪkr ) ... The Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) replied ; “say always, 'La ilaha ill-Allah' (there is none worthy of worship except Allah). The Three Dua's accepted ... The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, Three supplications are answered without doubt: 1. Supplication of the Oppressed, 2, Supplication of the Traveller, 3, Supplication of the Parent for his Son. According to ”Jabir (RadhiAllahu Anhu) reported : the Prophet RAS (SallAllahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) said, “the best remembrance. of Allah is to repeat La ilaha illa Allah.”. Especially in the Morning Adhkar between 'Fajr & Sunrise' and the Evening Adhkar. between 'Asr & Maghrib'. According to : An-Nasai , He narrated in Al-Kubra (227) that Anas ibn Malik said: The Prophet RAS (pbuh) said to Fatimah: “What is preventing you from listening to the advice I give you ? You should say when morning comes and when evening comes ; "Ya Hayyu ya Qayyum, bi rahmatika astaghith, aslih li sha’ni kullahu, wa la takilni ila nafsi tarfata ‘ayn". (O Ever-Living, O Self-sustaining and All-sustaining, by Your mercy I seek help ; rectify all my affairs and do not leave me in charge of. my affairs even for the blink of an eye). Classed as Hasan by Al-Albani in as-Sahihah (227). At the End of Day Adhkar to Read before Sleeping ... Let not a night come upon you and you go to bed without reciting. the Three Surah's. I didn't quite understand the one about how planets would have to infinitely revolve around eachother. Because I think that assumes that over an infinit period of time, the state of the cosmos would continuously allow for those two planets to be within enough range of themselves to keep revolving infinitely, without ever getting too far apart to keep doing so or eventually colliding since the gravity pulls them toghether little by little. Plus, there's also the theory of the universe infinitely expanding and then imploding, continuously. But I suppose that would actually bring up the question of infinately revolving objects, depending on whether you'd count them as the same objects from each individual "cycle" of imploding and exploding.

What is the definition of will. If you have a goal to achieve the will to achieve the goal is its essential. So the will does not change in relation with creation in sense of goal what is one directional. If you shoot a spear the goal is there to be achieved. But the wind and the choses you make because of the wind will be in different in different events because the wind is changing. But if you do not have a clue about the target the person is trying to shoot. You would think that his will is in constant change. So different choses someone makes does not necessary change the will. And you understand that if you understand his goal.

Nowadays most people will brush over the brilliance of Ibn Rushd out of love voor al ghazali. Which is unfortunate because ibn rushd was a genius en ahead of his time. Whether you agree with him or not. His process of thought was incredible and way ahead of his time. Unfortunately right now the money streams to people and organisations that would only push al ghazali/ibn Taymiyyah. It’s almost al if they want you to stop thinking for yourself and just follow what so called scholars tell you. That’s what unfortunate about modern day Islam. Just follow what some self proclaimed scholar says and absolutely don’t dive into the the matter an essence of Islam yourself.

Salam brothers , what about the god particle or the higgs boson or higgs field that is a field which is everywhere and it gives mass to everything , plus have you heard of the large hardon collider which is a large machine that supposedly creates new elements one example being Nihonium , nihonium was first reported to have been created in 2003 by a Russian-American collaboration at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR) in Dubna, Russia, and in 2004 by a team of Japanese scientists at Riken in Wakō, Japan. P.S i forgot to add that It is a synthetic element with an atomic number of 113, and it is not found in the natural environment. It is located within a boron group, and it is a part of a 7th period. Ununtrium has no naturally occurring isotopes.

It's all very intriguing to see so much thoughtful insights from so many thinking minds in dealing with this infinite regress argument whereas Allah deals with it in Quran as a matter which has no substance at all and the Messengers presented Allah as The Originator of heavens and earth as a given fact which has no doubt at all in 14:10 قَالَتْ رُسُلُهُمْ أَفِي اللَّهِ شَكٌّ فَاطِرِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۖ Can someone shed some light why it was so obvious to even past common people and why it become a matter of top level intellectual debate afterwards plz?

Time is not increasing, it’s just moving forward. One can image time as a straight line but for a second imagine time as a point moving on a circular orbit. What Muhammad hijab is calling time increase is the point moving clockwise. Now theoretically that point can move counterclockwise as well no? All I am trying to say is that it would be more interesting to watch a debate of two opposing sides rather than just one side in order to make up my mind

Causation, if that is what he is talking about, can be argued on multiple grounds such as apriori, posteriori, and a cantien, and some of these arguements argue for cause and effect, OUTSIDE of time, which would also explain the big bang, an example of apriori would be We have an eternal sun with its eternal rays, both are eternal, HOWEVER THE RAYS STILL DEPEND UPON THE SUN FOR THIR EXISTENCE, AND ON APRIORI GROUNDS, THE IMPICATION WOULD BE THAT THE RAYS are still CAUSED apriori by the sun, though both are eternal, in summary, in abstraction the rays could never exist without the sun, however the sun could.

Let's make it easier for you to use infinite regress. First agree things can't be illogical. And then make the infinte regress argument. Then if someone says causation doesn't exist or universe is oscilating then know wihtout causation any possible explanation one can come with will suffer infinite regress or being logically invalid.

Islamic Perspective on Freedom As a Muslim Islam gives us the right of 'Freedom of Thought & Speech ! The Islamic concept of freedom of expression is a expression to allow all Muslims .. The superior Islamic concept that should be more prevalent to access for the propagation of virtue and truth. Rather than spread or excite the evil and wicked virtues . For Instance : According to 'Ahlus Sunnah wal-Jama'ah' the Prophet Muhammad RAS (pbuh) said : "The best people are those living in my generation, then those coming after them, (Tābiʿun), and then those coming after (the second generation)" The difference between a Liberal and a Conservative ... The Conservatives believe structure is based on 'everyday politics' with undertones of a monotheistic inclination. In which the greater importance of stability, and promotion of the law and order to protect private property. Whereas the 'Liberals' believe and interaction questions the universal access to health care for their personal, health. And this 'health care system' should not be dependent upon one's financial resources, Therefore this includes the support of government intervention and funds. ...

the seen are the created things and their is a finite number of things Allah has created which are seen. However the unseen things are either in a state of created or yet to be created, and for the amount of unseen things that are yet to be created is up to the capacity of the creator which obviously is eternally abundant. At this point further pondering is pointless because we cannot know God's mind and his workings. Anything bad i said is from me and anything good is from Allah.

Argument with the 1 ton of silver to one ton of gold is weak. “Although the conversion of one element to another is the basis of natural radioactive decay, it is also possible to convert one element to another artificially. The conversion of one element to another is the process of transmutation. Between 1921 and 1924, Patrick Blackett conducted experiments in which he converted a stable isotope of nitrogen to a stable isotope of oxygen.”

A lot of ambiguity comes into the picture when there's a conflation between dimensional infinity (infinity along a spatial axis, infinity along time etc), and infinity beyond any dimensionality (infinity in power etc). When dealing with atheists etc, we should make that distinction clear imo.

@@abdulrahmanabouarkoub7792 In mathematics and philosophy, academics differ as to how they perceive infinity, ie is it really exists of if its merely an abstract concept. However, from a Quranic pov, all we can say is that Allah has mentioned of the life after being eternal. As for whether infinity exists in reality, such as infinite time in the future, or infinite time in the past, or both... all these imo would be matters of the unseen. So I don't think we can say anything for certain in this life except what Allah has revealed to us. The rest is merely speculation. These speculations can be used to point out the inconsistencies and incoherencies in atheists' positions.

The two Islamic philosophers, Al-Farabi and Ibn Sina, had upheld the Aristotelian position that the world as a whole was eternal in the past. Their conception was that matter has always existed, though continually taking different forms. They did not deny that God was an eternal Creator (Khaliq). But by this they meant that He constantly combines matter with new forms, not that He made the world out of nothing at a definite time in the past. In the same way God “creates” time, but it has no beginning.

@@oeshkoer so your logic compels you not to let go let's separate two things, God the absolute, and God the infinite. Infinity is not absolute.. there are multiple infinities.. in fact, you can create a hierarchy of infinities and prove an infinity is bigger than another infinity.. note that all these infinities have no beginning and no end.. please refer to set theory and Cantor's infinities on this subject. theologian William Craig rejects this math calling it absurd.. that's his non-expert opinion. God the absolute is beyond any infinity. some might argue that such mathematical infinity is fictional and not real.. some might use big bang theory to establish a unique singular beginning of our universe.. here, I will refer you to the physics Nobel prize winner Sir Roger Penrose and his work on conformal cyclical cosmology (CCC) in contrast Big Bang inflationary cosmology.. in a nutshell, Penrose theorizes that the moment of big bang is NOT the only beginning of the universe..Penrose argues that conformal geometry is the natural framework to describe the physics of the very early and very late universe, where the effects of mass and gravity become negligible. he also claims that there is observational evidence for CCC in the form of anomalous patterns in the cosmic microwave background (CMB), which he interprets as the remnants of black holes from the previous aeon. theorizing the universe being infinite doesn't contradict the theological creed that it is created.. God the absolute is capable of creating any infinity and He is NOT constrained by the paradox of infinite regress.. these cosmologies are not for the general public and are intended for a small minority of believers readers of philosophy and science.. that's why I said that you don't have to agree or believe in this special cosmology.. as a product of the modern age, I decided to move beyond the obsession of Imam Ghazali with the infinite universe of Ibn Sina. finally, let us all pray for the people in Gaza
