I'll have to check it out. This song was released in the aftermath of the Beatles break up, so Ringo obviously is talking about his changing his style as he embarks on a solo career. Howard Grimes was the drummer.

blues dogg music /rediker, yea I think they were all from Toronto area. I think Gordie, the guitar player and singer is living in Alberta. Bassist Gary Lowe passed away earlier this year. So I’m not sure what the plan is going forward. Edit: geez been 2 years since Gary passed. I guess this time during Covid still continues.

blues dogg music /rediker, for sure. You’ll find the Blues/rock, then blues,reggae,rock then some kinda rock funk. Heated is a great album. Another dirty blues act or two? Reignwolf and Black Pistols Fire both Canadian talents.
