Rev. Al Green performed remarkably Monday September 17th here at the Symphony Center. My son bought me a box seat, and it was such a wonderful show, the best I've ever seen him do... still hitting the high notes and singing without an intermission. He had an awesome mixture of gospel and love songs done with class. I'll never forget that night and my son is awesome to do that for me. I love you, Son.

Al Green was necessary to sing Pass Me Not properly. He has an innate talent to find the correct rhythm and pace! WHAT AN ASSET!!! Talented and experienced singers tried and couldn't quite cut it. Al just walked up and SANG it! WHAT A GIFT HE HAS AND ALWAYS DID. He just blows me away!!! If you're black, you've heard the finest music on this planet, but that doesn't mean you have Mr. Al Green's gift. This song has been banging around, in my head, for two days and when I heard Al's version, I played it a hundred times! What's beautiful, in my eyes, is the fact that it doesn't insult the real sacred names and that's hard to find!
