Al-Haleem Name of Allah
The meaning of Al-Haleem:
It means who doesn't punish early and gives chance by postponing it.
Al-Haleem is one of beautiful names of Allah. The root Hilm of name has 3 principal:
a)Not Rushing
b)Drilling / breaking something
c)Seeing something in dream.
Ragib Al-Asfahani described it that way: ''When one's anger gets big, when one's anger gets big,''
This name is mentioned 11 times in Quran.
Indeed, Allah holds the heavens and the earth, lest they cease. And if they should cease, no one could hold them [in place] after Him. Indeed, He is Forbearing and Forgiving. ( 35/Fâtir, 41)
And those who emigrated for the cause of Allah and then were killed or died - Allah will surely provide for them a good provision. And indeed, it is Allah who is the best of providers. He will surely cause them to enter an entrance with which they will be pleased, and indeed, Allah is Knowing and Forbearing. (22/Haj, 58-59)
Allah does not impose blame upon you for what is unintentional in your oaths, but He imposes blame upon you for what your hearts have earned. And Allah is Forgiving and Forbearing. (2/Baqara, 225)
There is no blame upon you for that to which you [indirectly] allude concerning a proposal to women or for what you conceal within yourselves. Allah knows that you will have them in mind. But do not promise them secretly except for saying a proper saying. And do not determine to undertake a marriage contract until the decreed period reaches its end. And know that Allah knows what is within yourselves, so beware of Him. And know that Allah is Forgiving and Forbearing. (2/Baqara, 235)
Kind speech and forgiveness are better than charity followed by injury. And Allah is Free of need and Forbearing. (2/Baqara, 263)
Indeed, those of you who turned back on the day the two armies met, it was Satan who caused them to slip because of some [blame] they had earned. But Allah has already forgiven them. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Forbearing. (3/Âl-i İmran, 155)
[This is] an ordinance from Allah, and Allah is Knowing and Forbearing. (4/Nîsa, 12)
O you who have believed, do not ask about things which, if they are shown to you, will distress you. But if you ask about them while the Qur'an is being revealed, they will be shown to you. Allah has pardoned that which is past; and Allah is Forgiving and Forbearing. (5/Mâide, 101)
The seven heavens and the earth and whatever is in them exalt Him. And there is not a thing except that it exalts [ Allah ] by His praise, but you do not understand their [way of] exalting. Indeed, He is ever Forbearing and Forgiving. (17/Isrâ, 44)
You, [O Muhammad], may put aside whom you will of them or take to yourself whom you will. And any that you desire of those [wives] from whom you had [temporarily] separated - there is no blame upon you [in returning her]. That is more suitable that they should be content and not grieve and that they should be satisfied with what you have given them - all of them. And Allah knows what is in your hearts. And ever is Allah Knowing and Forbearing. (33/Ahzâb, 51)
So We gave him good tidings of a forbearing boy. (37/Saffât, 101)
If you loan Allah a goodly loan, He will multiply it for you and forgive you. And Allah is Most Appreciative and Forbearing. (64/Tagabûn, 17)
