This Celtics team is broad and deep. Nearly everyone can score and defend. If one player has an off night, others will pick up their games. If Golden State keeps playing soft D on the three point shots, this will be a short series.

Well… game 2 and three Celtics starters combine for 6 points. So much for another player picking em up when one guy has an off night.

@SupaDupaDopeBoyy That's because he used to be able to hit them and if he didn't it wasn't a big deal because some combination of Steph, Klay and KD could bail him out if he shot poorly. With KD gone and Klay not looking like his old self (at least quick yet) consistently it puts alot on Steph who is 34 years old.

The Celtics were so calm entering 4th quarter and trailing behind the Warriors, they needed that 3 from AH to let the team realized that there are plenty of time to slowly catch up. I love those boys in green.

I think a crazy stat to look at is despite the Warriors getting double digit leads TWICE in the game the Celtics never ended a quarter down by more than single digits. That's an impressive performance to weather the storm that is the Warriors offense.

@@devinberry4472 exactly, when Curry was firing 3s like crazy, the Warriors were still not pulling away. Those role players are really tough

@@andytan911 and if Tatum even just had 25 pts in the first 3 quarters that game isn't even close. I personally believe an underrated reason the Celtics will win is because they just have SO many two way players, their entire starting lineup and half their bench is two players so they have such a good mix of lineups to play with while Golden State only has a couple two way players and most of their players either lack on defense of severely lack on offense and that means Kerr had to pick his poison in terms of trying to balance guarding Tatum and Brown as well as not allowing the role players to shoot open 3's and trying to get enough offensive players on the court to get leads.

You know that Perk made sure to mention Ime Udoka's name a few times just to remind Malika of that dismissive bullsh•t she pulled on him during the heat of the aftermath of that Celtics scandal a couple of months ago.

People forget how easily the Toronto Raptors destroyed the Warriors in 5 games. They were also the best defense in the league that year. These guys can't match the physicality of the East, and it's becoming more and more clear. LeBron didn't join the Western Conference because it was getting better, let's keep it real.
