There was a time when I could not be anything but defensive toward Israel. As a Christian my mum taught me to be caring toward the Jew. I travelled around India a long time ago with a bunch of Armenians and a Palestinian- beautiful memories. One day the Palestinian said he would be leaving because of trouble in Gaza, and that he needed to help there. I ended up in an argument, with him saying "You know nothing!"... and he was right. These men I travelled with were like brothers to me, and I so wished I could go back and hug this wonderful Palestinian and tell him he was right. Now, still a Christian, and still respecting the Jews, but only those like the Rabbi's and Jews who advocate this to stop. Those Rabbi's that talk of the Palestinian as their neighbours for millennia, where they were equals, and not caged as in the last 75years. The Rabbi's that say this is not who we are, and that Israel has forgotten their sacred path. And I feel the same. I would protect the innocent and oppressed as my faith tells me, no matter what religion or no religion they are. And I would fight against genocide, and this means I would fight against Israel.
