I got the message in the game that it was at 80% off and didn’t think much about it. Then I saw the post by PQ where he said what the upcoming vid was about. Bought my first ship today and I’m pretty happy with it

Like i said in the other post, this should be standard pricing for all premium ships. Only morans of the highest order would spend 70-200 bucks on ONE ship, you could buy three AAA games for the price of ONE SHIP.

Very experienced BB player here, and I absolutely adore the Roma and AL Littorio. Currently sitting 5th on the NA leaderboard for the latter ship (we'll see for how long with it being distributed widely now). The Roma clones are some of my all time favorite and most enjoyable battleships to play. The combination of very good characteristics in effectively all categories makes it a very comfortable ship to play. Roma is a fast and maneuverable BB with some of the best-in-class detection which allows consistent benefit from Brisk, which can be taken instead of 2pt Turret Traverse skill due to the already excellent turret traverse. The armor is incredible, with 30* forward-firing angles allowing full use of main armament, excellent ballistics and very punchy guns. While the dispersion can be suspect at times, it does seem to noticeably improve with spotter plane up and after Sansonetti range increase after a kill. Access to Sansonetti is a huge benefit, both to mitigate some lack of range, allowing the possibility of Confederate reload buff which can be achieved fairly consistently, and the improved 1pt Shell Switching commander skill. All these characteristics together provide a very robust and consistent ship that uptiers well and benefits from aggressive midrange positioning and repositioning. Always an enjoyable experience in these ships!

$9.52 US using the AL coupon. Just bought one. Ship plus a 10 point commander and the 200% booster to ship XP, commander XP and free XP on every battle for 30 days. Also noticed, at least on AL Littorio, that they plated over the spots on either side of the stern where it used to say ROMA. I remember people talking about this back when Littorio was first rolled out. It was either iChase or Flamu that mentioned it, IIRC.

This remembers me of when i had two private sells at the armory for about 5€. It were Massachusetts and Alaska. I was like "Shut up and take my money!".😅 I love this two ships, they are fun!😎

Roma was one of my favourite back when I used to play the game, and I'd consistently get 2-2.5 million potential damage, the guns are shotguns with great penetration, I used to set my power to 1/4 or 1/2 and just coast forward, only altering speed if I saw DD's or Long Range Torpedo Cruisers. Funnily enough Roma was one of the three ships i managed to get an AA defense expert with. She's a great ship, would be OP if it had more accurate guns

i have had a roma for ages, being italian, and i love her, she might be the most frustrating to play since the guns are basically inaccurate railguns who will overpen everything, but when you survive late game, she is unkillable

I'm thinking about getting this. With over 45k gold in my account, I decided to never put money into this game anymore. But: in my oppinion all of the premium ships are heavily overpriced for what they are. And you don't even get to play them that often with all the other tech tree ships waiting to be grinded. I think that 10 EUR for a T8 ship is a more reasonable price than the 45 EUR that they usually cost. And by my purchase of this discounted bundle, I might be sending this exact message. If many people buy this, we might get more of those discounts in the future...

Wasn't expecting to like this ship as I prefer accurate, consistent BBs. Ended up loving it, the in game accuracy feels much better than the stats indicate and the tanking is amazing. One of my new favorites!

Couldn't pass it up yesterday. I'm not the biggest BB player, but so far it performed well for me. Maneuverable and good concealment (300m better than Mainz ...), hard-hitting guns guns with fast shells but mediocre dispersion, decent armor, bad AA. It's more comforable to play than many other T8 BBs since it can play more aggressively while retaining the ability to disengage. As long as you can stay angled the armor works very well and it doesn't take as much HE damage as some entirely 32mm clad ships. AA or the lack thereof is an issue though, if a carrier wants you dead there is nothing you can do. I does surprisingly well against DDs, the guns are very easy to hit with, a salvo of overpens does 6-8k which is better than most BBs for me.

Thanks PQ. I wouldn't usually touch the AL stuff with a bargepole and I'm more of a DD main. But with the price reduced so much and the fact that I'm currently grinding coal to get crates for Sansonetti, then I'll make an exception here.

Roma was using german BB dispersion. When the german BB's dispersion was changed to use American (or what could be called "standard" now), I think Roma got it was well. The issue with Roma's guns is more to do with how her shells behave. The shell velocity is high and you overpenetrate a lot instead of doing pen damage. I compared my accuracy with Roma an other BBs and it is more or less the same. But in practice, the guns feel worse. Still you can do work with taht ship. The armor is very good and in a T8 ranked, i think she does well (at least for me).

Roma is a great ship, she just suffers from being a little cross-eyed at times And you also have to watch out for the pizza on the back of the stern, which loves to get penned because it’s flat around the no3 turret

As you can also add the extra discount it's a steal. In Germany it's just below 8€ and lately I wish I had the ship when there was the "Legendary Defender" mission chain as I only had the line Italian CAs and crippling modules is quite hard when the only HE shells come from your secondaries.

I got the Roma out of a Santa crate a few years back and enjoyed it for what it was. The dispersion wasn't great but the concealment for a BB was fantastic. I think one of my last solo warriors was in the Roma as a matter of fact. For the price War Gambling dropped it to I would have no problem recommending it.

First game that I played this morning, the opponent had two of these. They ended up at 1st and 3rd on a very one-sided game. Thought it was odd until I saw this video. Went and bought one for myself - $9.72 US after coupon.

I paid 11.44 USD on Wednesday. I like the ship a lot. I replaced the captain with Umberto Cagni which I had at L12, so, no weird 'Littorio' voiceover. She is okay at Tier IX, but at Tier X she languishes. Even or top tier, though, she punches when she hits. Gun angles forward are fantastic, but kiting they are less so and the stern has lots of angles and shell-traps. - One battle yesterday I flanked and missed a hard push to the other side, however, I caught a late-comer Colorado and blew it up in 3 salvoes and then destroyed their full health Furious in one salvo. Pretty good for only four salvoes.

Roma was my first premium ship. For me it defines a good balance in gunnery armor speed and conceal. Nothing is really over the top and everything just works. Something like nc for example has better gun accuracy yes. But it takes more dmg then a roma. So imo its a perfect ship for learning how battleships work. You get punished for playing bad and rewarded for playing good when you learn standard battleship gameplay

The 15% coupon can be applied to it. You can always dismiss the commander and change the camo also.

I personally have always loved Roma/Littorio. Sure Its not as competitive for CB's as Lenin, nor does it have the dispersion and overmatch of some of the other t8s. However, I've found it to be the most comfy T8 BB to be up tiered in. It has great armor if you are angled, the conceal allows you to surprise people from dumb positions as well as disengage. The guns have a high velocity(fastest at the tier) and great pen (sometimes a bit too much, don't shoot perfectly broadside lower tier cruisers), and while the dispersion can have issues sometimes. it is around the middle of the pack when compared to other t8 BB's, and really is not as bad as most people think.

I'm hoping they make that event I saw a while back where you can trade in stuff, I bought myself 2 of those container pack things from the last event (I think) and got super lucky and got a malta on my 3rd or so container. I played it once and remembered why I stopped playing CVs lol, I wanna trade it for something I'd actually play and I'm hoping I could throw this ship in with it if I don't like it, but even then I've been wanting to play Italian BBs for a while but never had the silver so hopefully this will help me with both :D

Finally an AL Ship affordable enough, the prices for the new ones are just so extreme. Even if she ain't my fav char from AL, still a great deal for me. And ofc being Roma clone in WoWS means having great potential using her

generally difficult to play T8 these days. Good to have the thought that there is a potential for T9&T10 to get pulled into supership MM. I used to take the Roma against Yamatos back in the day. I found it played well as a CQC brawler, back before there was 1,000,000 german BBs.

Good catch PQ, i now have littorio in port bc of this video, which is cool. Ngl i was gonna pass on this whole event (minus the free stuff like Battle pass) bc there wasn’t just a simple option to purchase the new commanders. if that was available, I’d have tossed like 30 bucks for them (i already got the others), but instead WG wants their AL fans to be superwhales or something, these prices are insane, especially when they only come with stuff you don’t particularly care for.

So that’s why I keep seeing her. If I am correct according to Yuro. You have to ignore the back turret and focus on forward turret. This neglected most of Roma’s Gun Dispersion. It still mess you up but atleast you have more predictable gun.

I’ve had the Roma for a while. I can never get the guns to be productive. My best games with it is if reds focus AP on me. I watch the damage potential rack up and my teammates survive longer. You are truly a tank and that is your battle impact

On the EU server this ship is not avayable during this event. You find Shima, Agir, Hornet, Chesire, Prinz Heinrich, Azuma, Sovetskaia Rossiya, Yukikaze, Montpelier. NO Littorio.

Good price, $11.44 USD ($9.72 with additional 15% coupon). Although I feel like that should be the normal price for ships, topping off at maybe $20. Maybe it's just me but it's insane high they price some of these things. I haven't played enough freemium games and maybe that's the norm, but I feel like even other games' battle passes have more impactful value per dollar.

I really wish they gave us the option to mount the historical camouflage and name plate on the stern with the Littorio and all the other Azur Lane ships.

Yeah you can actually use a 15% coupon, but it doesn't stack with the 80%, but is applied after it (i.e in your case it's just -15% on those 15$ moose dollars, making it 12.75$)

I absolutely love the armor scheme and the agility of this ship overall (With this ship, I mean the Roma for me). I really REALLY would play a lot more Roma if they buffed her accuracy a bit. I think it is due after so many years out there. She is too vanilla now.

I got Roma from a Supercontainer/new year container, and I almost don't play it. Granted, I have Lenin, and Lenin is more or less same, but better. The guns are sooooooo frustrating to shoot. It's constant overpens and misses.

So, I picked it up. I already have the roma, so why did I pick it up? First, resources. You can get containers, coal and steel for having ships in your port. Second, different build. I love having different builds such as close range brawling and long range sniping, along with various other setups. This gives me another setup option Third... I'm just a whale.

I also have been finding that her main battery rounds have consistently been falling several kms short of the target I'm aiming at (and I have really good aim). So don't know if it's a bug, horrible rng or what.

I am a Tirpitz enjoyer and I was reluctant trying Italian BB due to the horror stories about their accuracy and how I witnessed their accuracy when fighting me as well. Now, Littorio was so cheap that I could not resist. I splurged another hundred bucks to get Sansonetti (because brain damage) and boy, is it fun. The dispersion is really not much different from TIrpitz and you exchange torps and turtleback for a better turret layout, slightly better angles, way smaller superstructure and significantly better concealment. Overall, compared to Tirpitz, it plays kinda same same but different. It plays how I imagined the Schlieffen line would feel before I actually tried them (fragile little buggers they are), so it definitely has a place in my daily roster of ships now. tl;dr: If you like Tirpitz, get it. If you don't like Tirpitz, get it as well as long as it is this cheap.

I can't find it , is it out on E.U yet. Oh found, bought it, love it. Alsace type guns, 1.8 sigma, 850 ms, 11.7 km concealment and 227m at 18.1 km. People say the massa is great but the sigma is terrible 708 ms on the AP, 1.6 sigma , 243 at 18.3 km.

I do not do AL. In the past I have just ignored it but somehow an AL Littorio just showed up in my port for free. I didn't pay anything for it. Knowing that the guns are just plan innacurate I just put the thing into a standard permanent camoflage and moved in. Glad to hear she is a decent ship. Looking forward to playing here when I decide to do Italian. It is a pretty ship. Don't give a rats ass for the tits and ass anime.

WG removed signal flags from playing achievements for one reason: equity. Pathetic. They didn't want to give rewards to good players as it wasn't equitable (equal outcome) to non-good players. So they eliminated merit based rewards in favor of ALL getting rewards based on just playing (base XP).
