They were crap when they came out.. never saw the point of it. Just like answering machines, but most people had an answering machine. Speaking of which, I gotta get off the internet now, I'm expecting a call. 😆

@@TheAngryIntellect- They definitely have their purpose. They have really good battery life and were a quick notification to let you know someone was trying to get in touch. They were never meant for much use for the average person, they are for urgent notifications on the go. Doctors for example obviously, but they are even still in use today for people that work in environments where wireless devices are prohibited because they are one-way devices, so in classified environments they are still in use.
