Coach Meyer had some funny lines. I believed the one about Al and the Last Supper.

Butch Lee was funny! (When he ended with Allie he was talking about Al McGuire's son who was a great player for Marquette. Coach Al bent over backwards to not favor his son on the team, but when he put Allie on the bench fans would sometimes cheer "AL-LEE, AL-LEE" to get him back in the game. (Allie was so good he was on the cover of Sports Illustrated.) And fun facts: after he was (stupidly) cut from the 1976 U.S. Olympic team, Butch played for Puerto Rico (where he was born) & almost single-handedly beat the U.S. team. Many in Milwaukee -- where Marquette University is located -- would quietly admit the next day that they'd been cheering for Butch to defeat the U.S in that close, exciting game. Butch Lee won NCAA Player of the Year two years later and (with Al McGuire coaching in his final season) led Marquette the NCAA championship. Al McGuire might be the most popular coach in Wisconsin history after Vince Lombardi, but his steals joke near the end of this video has aged horribly, if it was even funny back then.
