I was a judge for the Black Filmmakers Hall of Fame, a filmmaker who went to Africa and took footage of marches of African celebrations and overlapped them with Black marching bands, it gave us chills to see the similarity between African parades and Black marching bands! Genetic memory is real!

I am a true sting fan but I have to give credit where credit is due....The Divas entrance and costume themed uniforms were FIRE... They looked really amazing. Great Job Ladies ...they have truly understood the assignment.

@@K3visual southern is a big band bigger than aamu and only has one. Other than marching them on and off field the director does the songs and Ballard's and they just stand there or look sloppy trying to direct with different styles. I just voiced that most not all schools need 1 maybe 2 that's all. Pvamu has 5 or 6 I believe asu 4 jsu4 and so on. Just think it isn't that necessary especially when they could be playing an instrument some of they bands could use a extra anything

I agree with the Drum Major and the band. But the drumline left VERY MUCH to be desired! Except for the Cymbalists, THEY WERE AWEFUL!

The young ladies were on point. The best I've seen, completely synchronized and beautiful moves. Huzzah to the drum major - loved his style. The two cymbol players! (Groove is in the heart!) Bless you all!

I love watching HBCU bands marching! I must say this is probably one of the best entrances! Shout out to the drum major for coming in with such precision; he held it down LITERALLY! And the drumline was so on point! Just shout out to the entire band! Job well done ladies and gents!!! 👏🏽

No fluff moves in this group. Wow. Dedication shows when there's no fans to witness and the entire assemblage representing AAMU performs like the stadium's packed & roaring, the sun's shining and it's homecoming day. Be proud of all your hard work, young folk.

I remember at a pep rally ASU vs AA&M in Birmingham(1991). We made the chant AS! AS! ASU! A Hoodie!! Hootdie!! In the middle of the pep rally... AA&M made their own version of it. It is good to see good things don't die..

I looove my black people, bringing flavor to anything they touch GREAT JOB! The Back stabbers on point the ladies looked classy no twerking just class no nakedness just physic,, the BAND MAKE THE WHOLE SHOW, the brothers are HARD MAN!, I loved it and shared it... TALENT! At it's finest..

This was a great video. This is My sister and some Of my Cousins Alma mater. My Mother and Father are ASU Alma mater graduates 🎓🎓 I also attended ASU and looked forward to the yearly Magic City Classic. The Drum major held it down and the rest of the band as well. 🙏🏽❤️

The photographers should know how to do their photographing without being a distraction, nuisance and hindrance to the enjoyment of the drum major(s), majorette dancers, the band, flag carriers, etc. It appears they take license of movement to just be anywhere at anytime. Please monitor your unprofessional movements that insults the precision, beauty and sound of the HBCU marching bands. We want to see THE Band - NOT YOU! You can still make your money/ grade ( even if you're working for the college). I love to see the HARD WORK of THE BAND!Also unbecoming behavior of loudness, profanity & squeezing marching band's space by overzealous attendees needs to be addressed. Thank you for your consideration of this matter. I'm a HBCU graduate and I love the HBCU EXPERIENCE.

Took me a bit to figure out this was the entrance into the stands and not on the field. I see many many hours of practice !! And a passion. If this is a competition I would love to see it.
