I mean, honestly. 2 muffed punts, missed field goals, dropped passes, fumbles. If Michigan played half as clean as they usually do, it would have been 28-10.

You forgot the idiotic late hit penalty - stalled a drive and useless blocking in the back. Almost as bad as TCU on Offense with drops and errant passes. (Long play to Wilson on TIPPED ball yet! ) plus special teams- but the D was excellent. Nothing easy. And clean no TO MI wins this 31-10 in regulation. But this was an MSU // TCU LOSS avoided by the DEFENSE.

This is exactly the way it was with Georgia but Georgia just couldn't get over it and Alabama had as perfect of a game as they could have. Alabama needs all that to win in the top 10 this year but they get real lucky. Glad Michigan got past Alabamas luck!

There's plenty of reason to hang our head, Alabama didn't deserve to win this game. Many of the issues we had in the first few games of the season are still present now. You can't be this deep in the season with a snapper that hasn't figured out where and how to snap the ball. We shot ourselves in the foot most of the game, fumbles, mishandled snaps, Milroe's missed short throws out to the edge. If it wasn't for our punter, kicker and the defense bailing out the offense most of the second half, the score would have been much more in Michigan's favor.
@xXCryngeXx
@xXCryngeXx 6 ай бұрын
I agree. But I do think we are going in a good direction. We had a lot more problems early season than we do now. An we cleaned ourselves up but not enough. Michigan was just a more polished team. Most games I had hope that milroe would bail us out with our wr an most the things did. Our kicker an punter was the only thing I had hope for this time. Milroe looked like a totally different player tonight.
@ericjohnson829
@ericjohnson829 6 ай бұрын
@@xXCryngeXx There's no consistency, we have a good game then regress right back to the same problems we had at the beginning of the season. Slow start, low snaps, Milroe unable to read the defense and trys to escape too late, he about fumbles the ball on every carry and has to recover it off the ground at the end.

As a Michigan fan, credit to Alabama for those second half adjustments. They recognized how much Michigan was focused on the pass and containing Milroe that they were able to exploit the run game. @@ValerieGriner Saban's age is irrelevant at this particular time. Last I checked, he was "old" when they just recently beat Georgia....who btw has a coach that's not as "old" as Saban. Saban was technically " old" when they won their last Title. Look.....Bama was outplayed yesterday,& still came seconds from stealing victory from Michigan. Sure....the grip Bama had on the game has loosened. They're STILL a top 10 program under his watch. He'll retire sooner than later, but to use his age as an alibi is weak. the title is what went wrong as in alabama. the michigan wolverines literally did everything to help them today. first play of the game was a an INT if not for the guy stepping out of bounds, the funbled punt and turn over on the first next dirve where bama scored 7, then then the messed up snap that would have put us up at half by 4 instead of 3, than the botched flea flicker play putting them back, and wound up missing a FG. and there was at least one other screw up. all that and michigan still beat them

Missed calls on both sides, had quite a bit to do with the outcome. Regardless of who won, the officiating was an absolute disgrace! All these commentators that crow about reviewing questionable plays in big games... Where were they at?? Also, Michigan dead legged Bama's punter. It was blatantly obvious, on the replay.. but no flag? Why, because it's Bama? To be clear, I am 100% a Bama fan. At the end of the day, I am a football fan, and seeing the officials call ANY game as bad as this one, is an absolute gut punch and not to mention unacceptable!!! Need more transparency, when it comes to who ultimately makes the decisions. And a lil friendly reminder for everybody, Michigan is still under investigation. They can win it all, but it won't mean much if its vacated. Once again, need more transparency.

No Cooper, Ruggs, Smith, Waddell, and so on. They didn't have one receiver that put the fear of God into you. Additionally, their OL wasn't as dominant as they've been in the past. Can we please, collectively, stop saying that the SEC has all the speed and the toughest defense. A 5-loss Wisconsin team almost beat LSU. Maryland, yes Maryland, clobbered the same Auburn team that played better than Alabama in the Iron Bowl. Missouri was held scoreless for 3 quarters by a decimated Ohio State team, and Alabama struggled to compete with the speed and physicality of Michigan. Next year the Big will get the speed of Washington, USC and Oregon. The SEC is NOT going to dominate the new playoff model. The SEC will definitely send good teams, but they will not dominate.

CFP committee completely DESTROYED the FSU program (not just the season, the program). Just so they can get their SEC/ESPN/DISNEY/$$$ corruption in play. They had a 13-0 FSU team, ranked #4, and they kept them #4 consecutive weeks EVEN AFTER Jordan Travis injury. Then, FSU wins their conference championship, and OVERNIGHT, 13 morons behind closed doors drop them, and slide Texas and Bama ahead. Texas and Bama both have LOST a game already. They killed an *undefeated* 13-0 power 5 conference champ, to throw in two teams that already showed they can LOSE. All because they couldnt leave out a 1 loss SEC Saban. And guess what, they both got into the playoff, played undefeated teams, and LOST AGAIN. They showed you, both TX and Bama, YET AGAIN, that they can LOSE. Now they LOST TWICE. As where the 13-0 FSU team never showed they could be beaten. Sure, GA stomped FSU ***after*** the CFB committee killed the program, but GA didnt beat THE STARTERS that went the entire season and conf championship 13-0. Statistically speaking, those guys werent there. They beat on mentally broken 2nd and 3rd string freshmen with no reason to play at all. The playoff committee made this happen by showing them on the field play meant nothing!!! Well over half those starters that went 13-0, the MAJORITY OF ALL OF THEM in fact, never even touched the field against GA. The committe did that, not FSU, not the players, THE COMMITTEE. The only people that showed they could beat the 13-0 FSU ***STARTERS***, was the corrupt committee. ESPN/CFP/DISNEY/$$$.... CORRUPTION... SHAME... TRASH... Destroying the sport and on the field play. Im glad Bama and Texas both $h!t the bed immediately. And of course, just like Orgeon/Wash (everyone had Oregon, wrong), everyone had Bama beating Michigan, wrong, and everyone had TX beating Wash... WRONG. Predictions brought to you by all the same people/analysts/experts that HYPOTHETICALLY thought the 13-0 FSU starters shouldnt be playing in the playoffs because they MIGHT lose some future matchup based on their OPINION... so they kept them off the field and taught them theres no reason to play... well guess what... you taught them well... and they didnt show up to your charity bowl.
