I played for Rhett and I will say he is a QB whisperer so the fact that him and D'eriq were able to get this commitment in the fist place shows that SMU is on the rise. With that being said Keelon is a WINNER and wont skip a beat going from Juggernaut to Juggernaut, Duncanville to Bama. 70% completion rating and 29-1 in 6A Texas is SEC Prep

Back to back TX 6A champs. Kid is also balling his ass off in one of the very top highschool divisions in the country. It's crazy how many P4/D1 players come out of there every year.

Agreed. If you can play big school Texas ball at a high level then you can make the transition. 2nd, SMU will back amoung the upper programs sooner than later. I could never figure out why SMU wasn't an OU, Ohio St or Bama. I think politics held them back at times.

@@ginobling1828 They’re ranked 7th in the country in June. I’m used to Saban’s classes being ranked in the 20s-30s in June. He’s recruiting his ass off. Doesn’t take a genius to see it. By the way, the QB is a top 10 recruit at the position. He’s the #1 QB according to ESPN. It’s not like the kid is some scrub 😂.

As long as DeBoer is able to take his offensive vision and adopt Saban's "Process" in terms of his CEO mentality and having everyone in the organization "do their job", he'll be successful at Bama.

From the highlights I’ve seen he looks legit. Also SMU is now in the ACC and have wealthy alumni/donors from Dallas bankrolling their NIL. They aren’t the same SMU from ~10 years ago
