sickest bama defense i have ever seen. insane athleticism, they played hatefully and angry, and they were incredibly smart. they can transition into blockers for a safety with a pick in an instant. this defense was definitely a #rarebreed

This defense reminded me a lot of the 92-93 defense when they won the natty under Gene Stallings. Straight up hateful, inhumanly athletic, smart, you name it. I will say it seemed like they lost a bit of their identity when Eddie Jackson got hurt. Still, in my opinion, one of the best defenses of all time

In my eyes , the defense did their job this year.. offense scored off of QB runs and RB runs.. we weren't deadly with our passing game and definitely overthrew alot of passes during the championship game.

Every player that started on this defense went to the NFL, big names include Eddie Jackson, minkah Fitzpatrick, marlon Humphrey, Jonathan Allen Ruben foster, for the first 4 games the defense had scored more points then the offense which is insane to think about.

Great compilation of Defense with Awesome background music. Gracias, King Gosa! This was a great season and I yelled and pulled for them all season that year. My family and I are huge Tide fans. Saban really turned this team around when he arrived and we're all grateful. My daughter-in-law graduated from there. When they lose a game, I do not scream foul but say, the "other team won fair and square." This 2020/21 season, we won fair and square. A couple of close games, but we won at the end. God bless the players, coaches, and everyone during this 2021 season. To ALL, Stay well and healthy!

We have to pick it back up this year. Every recruiting class since saban was hired has won a natty. That team that beat Michigan st in the outback bowl should have won it all as well.

King Gosa Scary exciting. No one will ever truly understand how good this defense was... 3 1st round picks, 2 2nd round picks a pick a piece In 3rd and 4th rounds. Just last year on that defense! And 2 more will go in the first round (that played last year), with more following this year. Which puts this defense potentially having 5-6 first rounders in all.... scary!

its honestly sickening to see how utterly dominant that the defense was against clemson through 3 quarters and if the offense is just mediocre then we will be 10+, but Jalen was 100% lost out there for most of the game. Just such a shame, that defense deserves the title!

i put this defense over the 2011 because the talent was insane...like 20 NFL starters, 8 first round picks, 7 pro bowlers and 5 AP in current day but they were feared Fitz, MH, Ronnie, Averette, Evans, Ham, Foster, Payne,Dalvin, Allen, Hand, Anderson with Diggs, QWill, RaeDavis, Jennings, Mack on the bench is unfair

This is the 2016 team. Stat wise they were better in 2017 and won the Natty. Both years they lead the nation in allowed PTS/G = 11.8. 2nd in nation total defense. Led by Jeremy Pruitt. Impressive. Pruitt should have stayed put.

Bama defense chose to be a offensive by taking the ball and scoring. That's a mentality you never see. Our defense at this time in the v8deo outscored some offensive teams . This was the good days when bama were guaranteed to get 3 interceptions per game.
