Y’all are truly an inspiration to me and many people I know! Opening day opens here in a few weeks and I cannot wait! Last year I got my first bird on film and it was one of the best days of my life! @@christoon7848 oh yes I know that, it makes it sound like they're moving through the woods much more loudly than they actually are as well; but everyone else whispers and I can't help but feel like Jake's voice is gonna blow it when I watch the videos. The animals clearly aren't bothered though! Just adds a little drama to it lol.

Awesome hunt! You will have to save the spurs for a hat band. I cut them off with a leg bone right where the spur connects and then skin off the skin and run a band through the hole in the bone. I have gone around my hat almost all the way now.

You fella's are living life right. Great flick, best part is your showing us viewers the real story how it happens. We used to use a whiskey bottle to roll our pretzels up fine in a ziploc bag for putting on fish or turkeys. Any hard bottle or cylinder shape object works. Like the kill an cook, best way to eat it. Stay virus free an keep pumping out the videos.

I really enjoy watching you guys. I have killed a big pile of turkeys the past 25yrs. and I still get tore up when I see those long spurred 4-7yr. old birds. I’m not saying that I don’t get excited about a 2yr. old cause they can be just as much fun to hunt and maybe more. You guys just have a passion and drive about you that is nearly unmatched. Y’all will walk,climb,swim,roll for miles to get a shot at any mature gobbler, no matter the size of the spurs and beard. It’s about the hunt for y’all!!! I have found myself over the past few years making it more about the size of the spur than the actual hunt itself and watching you guys has reignited that old spark and made me remember why I fell in luv with chasing these crazy birds in the first place, Thank You for that!! You guys be safe and keep doing it right.

I liked the cooking segment and that fact that you guys are hunkered down in a storage facility is crazy. From one camp cook to another...if you use the bottom of a pan or mixing bowl to crush the crackers in the bag you get a finer coating and better adhesion rate

I don't know if this would be possible, but I wonder if there is a way to mount a pair of small binoculars to the camera to help the videographer acquire the animal. It would be a quick transition from binos to viewfinder; and at the very least if you are seeing the animal in the binos, chances are they are showing up in the shot.
