I went to the June Jam in 1988 and got the worst sunburn in my entire life. I've never seen so many people in one small town before. I'm glad that the fan club is still going. Nice Video.

Thank you for taking us along on your, and your brides trip. Loved the Alabama Museum tour, the wandering around looking for their homes, and the extra side trip. Those are the kinds of things my husband and I used to do, but we're not able to travel now, so I appreciate being able ride along with you all and enjoy your trip.

I appreciate you sharing this video. I grew up about an hours drive west northwest of Fort Payne, AL. However, I currently reside in Georgia. I’ve traveled most of those roads you were on. My dad was a claims adjuster and he worked that territory and occasionally we got to travel with him. That was long before Alabama became famous. The museum is great and more awards in there than you can count. My bride and I get back over there from time to time. We actually went through there on the Friday of a Memorial Day weekend about 24 years ago and Randy was hosting a cattle auction and we stopped in unannounced. We acted as if we were part of the crowd of other cattle farmers there to bid on the bovines. We got to speak with Randy and saw Teddy there. One awesome experience. Great memories and again thanks for taking the time to post the video.

Back in the 80's I was about 16 or 17 years old and I went to Nashville with my uncle ( who is only 4 years older than me ) and his wife. When we left Nashville we were heading home to Georgia. We decided to stop in Alabama to visit this museum, but unfortunately it was closed. Darn it...!! I hope someday I'll get the chance to visit it again someday. I am sorry to hear that Jeff passed away. I didn't even know he was sick. I pray for his family. May God comfort them all. 🙏😇❤

That must be cool having Ft. Payne as your home town. I remember going to Ft. Payne and looking around and trying to catch a glimpse of the band , back in 1984. But when we got to the town, we found the people so nice, that we ended up staying a few days. Our trip was so much fun, I really enjoyed climbing Look Out Mt , with my mom. It is a great memory for me. Thanks to the people of Ft. Payne for being so nice and hospitable.

It's funny how they are so proud of there museum. So proud of what they accomplished with their music. So proud of the money the three of them made. Yet not ashamed of the way they treated Mark Herndon. They have no problem showing off all the merchandise they sold over 25 years and never paid Mark for it. A judge had to make it right. Shameless.
