I really like how they made the sultan much more realistic in this movie. He seems so worried about Jasmine and you can clearly see in the beginning that he would rather suffer than see his baby girl sad

I love the sultan's genuine reactions thinking he lost his daughter one minute and the relief and joy he felt after seeing she was ok.

the first part of this shows that jasmine would do anything for her family. it shows true loyalty because some rich people let alone princesses would think of themselves but jasmine is definitely different and thats what I love about her

What I miss about this scene is the sultan's "But... you're so old..." from the original, animated movie. It wouldn't work with this version of Jafar 😂

This scene makes no sense. The princess agreed to marry Jafar so that her father would not be killed. But then she breaks her promise and runs away Leaving her father in Jafar's hands. Jafar could hurt her father. Why did she accept at first just to save her father but then let him be killed anyway?
