I'll prefer to stay in small cities sha because of the cost of living. Its more expensive living in the big cities. But like you said, bigger cities also have better opportunities. Thanks for the video.

omooo I was born here in America, but I'm of Nigerian ancestry with close ties to the country. I have many international student friends from Nigeria, and let me tell you it is not easy o!! I thought it would be easier for them because to me the Nigerian system prepares you to have better work ethic. It is actually recommended you take 15 credits minimum as a undergrad if you want to graduate in 4 years time. If you screw up a few times, you will be in big big debt. Too much wahala, but we go dey alright.

Preach, sister! This is real talk. Especially the part about where the rules are different depending on which region of the world you originate from. This world was not created equal for all. Friends new to the diaspora, if you are like me who comes from a 3rd world country, for your own sake I beseech you to make conscious decisions concerning your education and life that will even the playing field as painlessly as possible. Forget about vanity metrics

Hi Aladi, My name is Joshua Gana from Nigeria. I'm a computer science student. I applied to university of South Dakota, were you are schooling. My application is currently undergoing processing and the only thing left I'm ask to submit is Duolingo English test score. They said they would have waived it for me but English is not reflecting on my WAEC result and of cause NECO is not accepted. I'm about taking the test to send back the score to Delgado, Brookney in international office, she has been guiding me even when I had issues making payment to Grad CAS. I'm to send the scores before the end of the week. Your videos have been really been helpful throughout my research and application process till now. I know I can't take a job off campus, but if I'm able to get a car can't I be doing door drop and not getting into problem? Also, I know this will sound somehow, but for employees that are willing to pay me without using my SSN, is it okay for me to take the job. Furthermore, regarding the i20 from school, I would like to know if the university of South Dakota has the licence to issue that. Finally, I would like to know if south Dakota has a community for black people like us, and I will also like to know how to chose a supervisor, so as to avoid all these things you are saying. To get correct answers to your questions, I think you should send an email to your International Officer for clarifications. Plenty black people no dey here sha, if you know, you know ;).
