Every time we go down to p.f. We always have our first dinner at the Alamo . When we leave we are always full and happy. We have never had a bad meal there. We are planning to go down the first week in dec. hope to see you there . Robert from dagsboro Delaware.

First let me say awesome editing and filming y’all ! No herky jerky going on when I watch your videos ! Which is a great thing . You always give a great review & you all always do a great job with the info. Love the way you did the menu and how you Include the location on the bottom Of the frame. Mom & I got the same thing. Do you remember if you thought the chicken had a teriyaki flavor? I didn't think it was very teriyaki. I think it was the taste of the white oak that over powered it. It was still delicious and I would definitely order it again! Carly is always up to something fun. Sometimes I don't think we capture that enough in the videos. We have heard mixed reviews about here. We had a great experience and the service was wonderful too. It has been awhile since we have been here. We thought we would try the lunch menu out. I know when we have a bad experience somewhere we usually don't go back or it is a very long time before we try it again. Especially when you consider the prices you pay to eat out at restaurants. I've always passed the Alamo when going down Pigeon Forge just never got around to trying it but after seeing that Chopped Steak I'll definitely have to add it to my to do list especially seeing them big pieces of onions on it with the mushrooms! The mashed potatoes looked spectacular as well! Looking at the outside of it when I was in Pigeon Forge I will admit I had my doubts about the restaurant but after seeing this video it's definitely proof that one should never judge a book by it's cover as the inside and the food are proof that the Alamo must be a hidden gem!

It's one of the Johnson Family Restaurants. All of the restaurants are of quality in my opinion. Sometimes David gets a steak but he got the hamburger steak for lunch. The food is cooked over an oak fire grill and you can taste the difference. Delicious food!

You will love the taste from the grill at Alamo's. They also have a hamburger on the menu that is a pound! Always delicious food here. Hope you make it here one day soon.

@@tbitton192 That sounds awesome! We have been on the Staten Island Ferry before. Before Carly was born we would go to NYC quite a bit. She is 12 now so it's been a long time since we have been there. We had a trip planned in 2020 and Covid changed all that. Have eaten dinner here but never lunch. Everything looked so good, especially that loaded potato soup. I will definitely have to give it a try next time I’m in PF. Another great video and review!
