They've had a lot of injuries. But I've always had this kind of sense that Ten Hag is just a bit of a soft sausage. He seems to have this aura of 'fail' surrounding him. He did win a trophy, but the amount of times since then I've seen him fail spectacularly and you can always see it coming, is pretty wild. Some of the worst losses I've ever seen united take, and some crazy bad stats to match them. Same guy somehow bottled a 3-0 lead to spurs in a CL semi final ajax were cruising in. I don't know, united fans seem to think different, but he seems a massive risk to me. If I was a united fan I'd have no confidence in him.

Ten Hag overachieved with this squad this season, way they played should be in the bottom 3, outplayed by almost every other team in the league including Sheffield Utd, Burnley and Luton.

Don't know if you know that Ten Hag brought in a lot of these players. From the 1st game Utd has been poor, that on the manager. You can't tell me these players are that bad that they can't control a game against championship opposition. His tactics may work in the Dutch league but not in the premeire league.

People like Brazil aren’t reading the tea leaves very well. When Gary Neville does an in-depth extended interview with Ten Hag 1-2 weeks ago at United’s headquarters in Carrington, that’s a sure fire sign Ten Hag is staying. Neville, Keane, Rooney, and Rio have all suddenly changed their tune and saying Ten Hag needs more time. That’s a clear indication that they got the inside scoop that Ten Hag is staying. INEOS would never have let Neville do that extended interview with Ten Hag so late in the season if that wasn’t the case. People need to actually wake up. Ten Hag is staying.

He’s not staying. A sure-fire indication that he’s leaving is that, despite the enormous pressure on him, INEOS haven’t publicly backed him. Keeping him would be catastrophic and there’s no way he’ll be here next season

INEOS don't have to give an inside scoop to anyone. They would have come out and publically backed Ten Hag over the last 5 months if they were serious about keeping him. The only thing keeping Ten Hag in the job is his ridiculous severance package and the manager INEOS really want, being currently employed elsewhere. They have no intention of keeping someone from the ridiculous Arnold/Murtough era and a manager who only wants to recruit players he's previously worked with/seen in a farmers league.

@Draper99 @lovejoy3347 Keep yapping. The irony of your comments is managers getting publicly backed ironically means they are very often about to get sacked. Ten Hag is staying despite the media have an odd obsession with him getting sacked. INEOS don’t owe a public statement to anyone. Likewise, Ten Hag literally said yesterday today’s game at Old Trafford is not his final match at the stadium. He knows he’s staying if you actually watch the press conference and read his body language. It’s very obvious.

Spurs will never get close to winning the league under him. I've been a BIG Manchester United fan for 25 years. If Ten Hag is sacked, it would be a CATASTROPHE. How can a specialist in English soccer say all that. 1st season of Ten Hag we finished 3rd, we played the 2 domestic finals and we made the + of cleen sheet of PL. This year we've had over 65 INJURIES, so how can anyone doubt that this is the problem, it's OBVIOUS! Ten Hag has EVERYTHING it takes to succeed in the toughest job in soccer. He'll shut a lot of mouths and it's OBVIOUS that they won't fire him!

Everyone acknowledges the issues we’ve had this season. But Ten Hag supporters seem to think that injuries are the sole reason for the diabolical performances and results this season. Btw there were some hideous performances and results last season too. If Newcastle beat us tonight, Ten Hag will have lost more home games than any other United manager in history. Fact. Let that sink in. He’s created one of the worst teams in the Premier League. It’s inexcusable

Good win record ≠ good performances! When United won matches last season, those victories were rarely convincing, so nothing has changed this season in that respect. That said: as a United hater I hope Ten Hag gets a 20 year contract extension. 😄😆😂🤣

United fans who want ETH to stay so the squad can be cleared out first - do you realise that could take years?? Are you willing to watch this awful mess for the next few seasons? The squad isn't gonna be transformed in one transfer window! Also, why is it one or the other? We have proper football people in leadership roles now who've been analysing the squad, so if a new manager comes in, the players aren't getting a "do-over" like they have before...
