Alan Cumming is one of the most talented men I've ever seen. He can sing, dance, and act. I've seen him play so many different types of characters and every one is flawless. Slimy scam artist, silver tongued shark, flamboyant homosexual, awkward dork, bad ass, smooth ladies man...he can pull it ALL off perfectly!

Have you ever seen the comedy where he started called "The High Life"? I remember watching it when I was a teenager, then forgetting all about until I Wiki'd Alan Cumming after seeing him on The Good Wife (where he is also excellent!), hard to believe such a guy and powerhouse of a skilled actor came from there! It surprised me a guy born not that far from me in Scotland could shake the accent off and talk like Eli Gold!

I agree!!! This is one of my favorite scenes. Alan C. with the yogi voice and, of course, his mannerisms, are way too funny. Thank goodness for KZfaq for providing the venue, and for the really wonderful people who edit and share these great videos with folks, like you and me, to enjoy. …. PEACE to ALL … and … STAY SAFE and HEALTHY.

I was really ready for like the pervy Yogi trope, gazing at the woman and ignoring the man and using any excuse to touch up Daphne but was really pleased to see him pay equal attention and only using daphne to show niles better how to pose. I'd say it subverted the trope but I'm not sure the trope had even begun when this was filmed.

Alan Cumming has always been an excellent actor. He can play just about any role. There is nothing wrong with his American accent (he is actually Scottish). Watch him as Eli Gold in "The Good Wife" and "The Good Fight".

I just watched this episode today for the first time and these two scenes were by far the best scenes in the episode and I was cracking up and laughing so hard, even possibly waking other people in my house because it was very hilarious 😂. These two actors (well three including Jane Leeves) are so talented and are perfect for comedic scenes like these. DHP and Alan Cumming are both truly great comedic actors and have deserved their successes in acting. I've fallen in love with this show very quickly and although I'm still new to this show (not to mention how big the show is with 11 seasons, about 230 episodes), I plan on watching as much of this show as I can.

To the two people who posted about Frasier's decline in quality. Only in relation to its best seasons. Personally, I really like Seasons 9 and 10. Season 9 is a grower, and is spirited, in general, with strong characterization Its best episodes are I think among the strongest on the show: What made "Frasier" work , in my opinion, aside from the excellent rapport between the actors, sharp writing and deep characterization is the family dynamic. The relationships continue to be strongly grounded in the family dynamic even in later seasons which is what makes this show so enaging to me. Season 10 is overall quite funny, even though at times it extracts humor from goofier situations. What makes it charming, however. is how consistently self-aware the show is even at its goofiest moments.It is rare for a sitcom to portray characters who are always able to laugh at themselves "Frasier is more than just a sitcom. It's a national treasure., and I'll continue rewatching it with pleasure until the end of time ,
@sheilaburns89776 жыл бұрын
Good Day eagal11, I agree. I re-watch all of the time. Frasier was and still is an excellent show. We, as a people, are so spoiled. We have so much and seem to complain about almost everything. Sad. I don't get the "couch critics" and "side seat writers." Frasier was one of the wittiest shows on TV and time has not diminished its charm.

thats just social degeneracy taking effect. being more familiar with pornographic terminology/imagery rather than an actor's name (or whatever else it could reasonably be upon first glance) is normal in the face of social breakdown. there is near-perfect healing to be found in various ancient, non-zionist traditions.
