The Street End never really went for flags and pop songs and all the pretentious kopite stuff but on the days when the team fired the Terrace throbbed with real true heartfelt passion equalled on very very few terraces.

mate I'm not saying the kop isn't famous. I'm saying it is choreographed. Self conscious and choreographed. You are not alone. Celtic are worse if anything and the Italians are as bad as well. As you say mate it hasn't changed for decades.....a self referential 1960s timewarp. Some clubs like LCF and Celtic go for "look at us" "aren't we special" stuff. Some such as Newcastle or to be honest manure just go to the game.

The Kop may have done it first Cammy and back in the day it may have been spontaneous and real but no longer. Its staged nowadays. The Kop watching itself being the Kop and being very impressed with themselves. Its gazing in the mirror.......totally inauthentic and unspontaneous nowadays.
