[Chorus]
I'm just a singer of simple songs
I'm not a real political man
I watch CNN but I'm not sure I can tell
You the difference in Iraq and Iran
But I know Jesus and I talk to God
And I remember this from when I was young
Faith, hope and love are some good things he gave us
And the greatest is love

My grandfather died in the north tower of the World Trade Center. And it haves gave me the passion and strength to become a firefighter at the age of 20 years old. I will never forget ❤️❤️❤️

I remember being at work when a coworker came thru and said a plane hit the World Trade Center. I thought it must have been a small plane, but then he came running back saying a second plane had hit it. I tried to get on CNN, NBC web sites but couldn't get anything. It was then I realized something horrible was happening. It wasn't until later when I could get to a TV that I saw the towers falling and the people trying to escape the area. I met a woman who lost her son in one of the towers at the 2005 National EMS Memorial Service. We exchange emails every year. Though not anywhere close to the 9/11 sites, I will not forget what those cowards did to our country and her innocent people.

Standing in my chiefs office, watching WTVD. When the second plane hit, he hit the alarm, and woke up the whole crew. 2 hours later, we were on a plane bound for McGuire AFB. From there, it was only a short hop to Manhattan, and hell on earth. I still cough up small black balls when I get winded, but I'd do it again in a heart beat. Doesn't seem like 20 years has passed. Hell, I'm not that old am I. Yeah, I guess I am. I hope they replay the video, just so the kids today can see what we get so upset about. They need to remember this day, and the people who we lost. Never forget December 7th, or September 11th. Days that changed the world.

Here on September 11th 2022, the world has changed so much since this catastrophic day. So many American lives were lost. It was however a day of National Unity, I was in a classroom in the 9th grade. Among fellow Americans of every race and religious belief. Nothing mattered except our American pride. I miss the days of unity. God bless the men and women who lost their lives, and to the ones who are still protecting our freedom.

I’ll be honest, this is the first time I’ve heard this song. I cried like a baby and still do whenever 9/11 is spoken of. It was present times replay of Pearl Harbor, only a different assailant. NO ONE will ever forget, NEVER!!! God Bless ALL who served and still serve. God Bless the USA !!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸❤️❤️❤️
