This was another good episode of "Box 13" featuring the fine actor Alan Ladd. It had a good plot, pacing, and acting by the primary and supporting cast.

Thank you so very....very! A. L. Has such a soothing voice, perfect venue for him , movies are all 👍 So glad that the 40-50's era actors lendt their talents to radio (I know TV wasn't around); Powers that be? Were? Saved this for all time. Do recordings need to be restored like 16 mm films and others that are in danger? I'd really leave my house to that endeavour.

Ladd had one of the best radio voices of all time, and this series was very well written. Thanks for tuning in!

I never realised what a great talent the "lad" had!! I'd seen Shane and thought his character was brilliant and I also found out he was only 5ft 5" and certain scenes he wud have to stand on a box as his co-stars were a lot taller and him being the star wudnt do and some of his scenes were long shots which wud make him seem taller!!! This is in no way a slant on him just information that fans will no anyway and I love Box:13 they're very exciting!!! Thanx for uploading!!!

Ladd was not tall, at maybe 5'6", nor are/were Kevin Hart at 5'2-4", Michael J. Fox and Joe Pesci at 5'4", Daniel Radcliffe and Charlie Chaplin at 5'5", Dustin Hoffman at 5'6", Tom Cruise, Al Pacino and Sylvester Stallone at 5'7", and Humphrey Bogart at a lengthy 5'8".
