I regularly watch the Bundesliga and whenever I have seen Dani Olmo play he has been the best player on the pitch. When RB Leipzig beat Bayern 3-0, he scored all three goals. In contrast, Bellingham was great against average teams, but average against great teams. But somehow Bellingham is a superstar and Olmo is a reserve for Spain. Maybe England players aren't as great as their hype.

England was lucky to make the final. Worst of all, they played 'small nation' football (eg Greece 2004) despite the talent available. Disgraceful! Meanwhile, Spain beat Italy, Croatia, Germany, and France to make the final and they did so playing adventurous, attacking football. The way England played after going behind proves that it was the manager and not the players in the squad: a totally defensive mindset, determined not to win without etra time or penalties. Those players were brilliant: they got to a final despite their manager setting them up to fail. It's mind boggling, I've never seen the like before because those players could have run most teams ragged, but weren't allowed to try.

Finished 5th, built a good squad of players with Ben arfa, Mousa sissoko, Demba ba, Papisse cisse, etc, and played attractive football. Why won't the English Pundits be absolutely honest? We have a young team who week after week show their talent and potential.
