Players like mainoo, palmer, Gordon look better because they are actually important to their club teams and have responsibility in their teams. Saka's been useless.. no end product..except for his deflected cross to the Bellman, Bowen was much better with his cross to Kane, tracks back & gives much more effort.

It seems to me like Gareth has almost made the England environment to fun. What have they been doing for the last 12 months. No patterns of play, no real offensive game plan. Nothing down the sides, especially on the left. Rice playing far too deep when we have the ball. We don't need him 5 yards from the centre backs when pushing forward. These players like Gordon, cobby, and palmer do not need to be protected by Gareth. They play week in week out in the premiership. Gareth is just far too safe. It's not going to win you anything.
