Hi Jimmy, I'm 66 and loved them. I just found this concert vid and have been watching/listening to it over and over. Just ordered a greatest hits CD and can't wait for it to get here. Funny how, with age, I appreciate how great they are even more. Goin thru tough time, so glad I found them. Funny how music always seems to find us when we need it's magic to get us through.

I grew up listening to this group, and watched as musicians, vocalists, etc moved in and out. This live group is tight, and though they aren't the originals, they do great honor to the older members that made these great songs timeless. I still hope that Alan Parsons can keep his and Eric Woolfsen's music moving on.

Michael Rauch the drums become pretty much "on autopilot". Sounds oversimplified. But as a drummer who sings, I can tell you its true. You just concentrate on singing, the rest is muscle memory. And of course rehearsal, rehearsal, rehearsal.

Ive been listening to Alan Parsons Project since around 1982, I had 3 of their DVDs and then fell in love with them in the 2000 all over again, I think today they were so far ahead of thier time. I listen to the words of the songs, so well crafted along with the keyboards I put them in my alltime top 5 bands on the planet along the likes of Supertramp, The Eagles, Moody Blues. Great concert

I came to Canada in 1975, at age 10, and discovered APP when I started high school in 1979. My first album was Turn of a Friendly Card. I didn't realize at the time that it was about gambling addiction. Well, wouldn't you know it, in 1998, when I finally upgraded to a good job as a 33-year-old, I took some pay to the recently opened Casino Niagara. I started gambling in June with $11,000 in savings and by December those were down to zero. The early 00s were torments of the damned for me until I finally got clean of gambling by losing the last job I'd ever have in 2006 and going on disability. Since then I have relapsed three times for a few hours each time, twice walking out with enough money in my pocket to get through the month. But it was around 2010 that I used Amazon to buy the CD of Turn of a Friendly Card, listening to it with pleasure but gradually realizing that APP had tried to warn me about gambling and I had been deaf to their warnings.

I've always loved Alan Parsons 'resume'. Assistant engineer on 'Abbey Road' - Beatles. Assisted engineer on 'Dark Side of the Moon' - Pink Floyd. "Thank you for coming in Mr. Parsons. We'll be in touch if we require your services"

Not assisted, WAS the engineer of Dark Side. And produced and engineered The Year the Cat

jrlaudio Yes exactly... Main / lead engineer on Dark Side. And yes...Year Of The Cat. One of the best collections of cohesive music you will ever hear. Great songs, and great production! Back when an "album" was meant to be listened to and appreciated as an entire collection. No single song download / digital mp3 / Flavor of the minute / Autotuned B.S.

Well this is just amazing. Always thought Alan Parsons was a pure studio entity that could never be brought to the stage in any proper form. Not sure why it took me so long to find this. Incredibly impressive performance. The vocal work and musicianship here is just unbelievable. I was a big fan of this band back in the day. I think if I had attended this performance it would have knocked me to my knees. Just amazing, wow.

Damn, that drummer has double chops! Great voice to complement his drumming. Don't see that too often these days.

I watched the band "Toto" in Nashville, TN back in '99 and Simon Phillips was their drummer. During his solo, he played 3/4 time on one hand and foot and played 4/4 timiing on the other. To say the least he was incredible.

Bought this DVD. My only complaint is that it was too short.

@James Smith A bit late reply but never late to clarify. Steve Murphy is not the original drummer. The original one is Stuart Elliott. Alan has been hiring different musicians for his tours, none of them are the originals.

I keep coming back to this concert. This line-up was just amazing. It got me to check out other projects from each of the musicians. Just incredible artists all the way around. Great show! I do wish the crowd seemed more into it.
